    I call shenanigans. If the clocks went back an hour, and you put yours forward an hour, that's a difference of 2, so you should be 2 hours early for work, not 1.

    Perhaps the OP got it wrong as in got the date wrong, or simply wasn't aware that it was happening. And thus arrived an hour early for work.

    I worked with someone years ago who did the two hours early thing though. She was not a happy bunny that day, especially with the rest of us sniggering in the corner... ;)

    I put my alarm clock an hour forward and my phone an hour back. Woke up Sunday morning hungover and fierce confused.
