    * "Never trust a book by its cover"

    * If your every in a bar/disco/restaurant/etc and a fight/fire breaks out, don't follow the rest of the other public escaping, follow the staff getting out where possible instead. Chances are they know a quicker, safer way out.

    * Similar to someone else here - "If you can't lift her up to a bed, don't put her down on one."

    * Never trust a government 100%

    * It takes greater courage and character NOT to go with the tide but to stand up against it!
    You will be your own better person for it!

    * ALWAYS have an escape plan - and a back-up one to that!

    I have a little brother and the things I try to pass on to him are;

    Work hard and you'll be rewarded. You know what you want do to with your life, even though you're only 12, so go for it and you'll get just like I have.

    Never let anyone tell you what to believe in, decide for yourself and be proud of it.

    Never stop trying. You only fail when you don't try at all.

    Treat everyone equally and with respect and you'll be treated the same.

    Lastly I might be 12 years older than you, an adult with a life of my own, but I'm still your big sister and I'm here if and when you need me.
