The minimum wage creates unemployment and price increases. Their is already a natural minimum wage - the minimum it takes to live. No-one will work if they make so little that they can't even put food on the table. There, that's your minimum wage.

Capitalism creates equality and makes the working class better off. Do you really know anything about capitalism? It's only about 200 years old. Before that, you had kings, noblemen, and poor - that's it! The 19th century, which was characterized by capitalism, was more equal than the 18th century. The reason why people left their farms and started to work in factories was because it was actually better work - it was better paid for a fact. Capitalism has made the world more equal than it has ever been.

You're a supporter of an inhuman political system which has brought nothing but suffering. You can smear me as a cold right-winged economist if you want, but the facts remain: My friends built the free world. Your friends built the Gulags.

Yes, yes, socialists built the Gulags. Not Stalin, a dictator of a country that had long slipped out of socialism by the time he'd come to power.

Capitalism creates equality? Tell that to the third world and see what they think about it. Right, you're either taking the piss or just completely deluded so just gonna ignore you from now on.

It is a good point that man made that IS ON TOPIC, that we as a nation pissed about when times were good and now the ****s hitting the fan and its time to face up, we all let it happen and now WE ALL have to pay the price, STUDENTS included. Just because you don't like what he said doesn't make it any less true.

    Wrong on two counts.

    1. It was off topic.
    2. It was impossible for me to dislike what he said when I couldn't care less.

Everyone else take it to PMs, politics forum or the back of the bike shed.
