i actually have a very rich, full life with a husband, three kids and a family dog but, em, on Saturday nights the all have this thing where they, um, go bowling, or something, so I am free to post on Boards.ie whilst drinking slighlty copius amounts of French Brady before the, you know, family, get back.

I've only got a couple of hours left so c'mon and make with the unignorable topics already!

I've got plenty of dough, but I also have work at 7am tomorrow (and just came back from work at 11pm tonight).

So saturdays are out of the question.

Best way to save money: work saturday night and sunday morning. You'll save loads from not going out on saturday! At least that's what I keep telling myself :eep:

I have a chest infection and wouldn't have had money to go out anyway so am slowly building a dependence on prescription medication as a fun alternative.

Don't see why one needs a reason to stay in on a Saturday night.

FWIW though, went out but got back early enough, just went for a quiet few pints, although it was Doyles so it wasn't quiet at all. 3 in 1 in Charlies after... delicious. And then I bought some teacakes and crisps on the way back. Overkill. They lie on the table barely touched.

Giving out to one's friends for getting too drunk leads to being left out of their Saturday night plans for at least...

    *counts*

    ...three weeks.

With my girlfriend living four hours away, there was nothing else to do but watch football highlights and waste hours on the Internet.
