    English - A
    Maths - A
    History - A
    Geography - A
    Science - A
    Religion - B
    Business - A
    Spanish - A
    Tech Graph - C
    CSPE - A

    :D:D:D

Can't believe it! Wasn't expecting results like those at all!

They're awesome, but I was aiming for eight.
    Also, CSPE, wtf?
Got a geog A in the pres, disappointed with that.

But: HISTORY, HIGHER MATHS, FRENCH, ENGLISH (I got 72% in the pres, nice upgrade), BUSINESS STUDIES (**** you, cash flow forecast >:D) AND RELIGION (but I did recommend that the examiner listen to a Bon Iver album, so that was pretty much a given :P)

I got the very same results as you!:)

Arghh, compared to my mocks which was 2 A's, then an 84%, 83% and an 80%, I'm not sure if this is improvement. :P

    All higher level:
    English - B
    Irish - B
    Maths - B (YESSSSSSSSS UP FROM A D!)
    French - B
    Geography - B
    History - B
    Religion - B
    CSPE - B (fml)
    Business - B
    Science - C
    Music - C

So, 9 B's & 2 C's. My science teacher gave us answer sheets instead of doing experiments, so it never sunk in etc, and my tinwhistle wouldnt play, just squeaked. (forgot to warm it up, actually never knew you had to :P)

If they could all be moved up one...;)

    I'm pleased though! :D

How does the bell curve work?

How does the bell curve work?
I'm just quoting what a teacher told me today. An examiner is marking 100 CSPE papers, say 40 are a's - too many A's. The examiners will be asked to then re-mark the borderline a's and change them to B's. Basically everyone can't get an A

My best friend got a B in cspe too to go along with her 10 A's. Delighted we both did so amazingly well.

I felt really disappointed though for our other friend because she got all a's b's and c's which is really good but she seemed reall disappointed because she dhdnt do as well as we did :(

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 2,014 ✭✭✭Colm!

    10 A's and 1 B (Music)!!!
My legs actually buckled underneath me when I saw the sheet.
I went from a C in French to an A which I though was going to be impossible.

    That's absolutely amazing. Serious respect.

I'm just waiting for Jack to come along and burst my bubble now.
I won't be bursting your bubble. 9A's and a B in Irish (which I'm considering having rechecked. :P)

I got a A in English but the A has a * right beside it? Anybody knows what this is for?

  • Registered Users Posts: 2,419 ✭✭✭WanderingSoul

There should be an explanatory page with it or on the back of your results. The meaning can vary; I have one because I had a scribe and therefore spelling and written punctuation was discounted but my friend has one because she missed a paper.
