Joe Higgins digging a large hole and jumping into it with both feet

The truth of the issue is .. if there weren't guys like Mick Wallace in the country, then there wouldnt be money for all the benefits that Joe Higgin's voters get..

Higgins is completely stumped... Couldnt give a direct answer to Pat's "Should a tax evader be serving be a member of the Dáil?" question..

I think Joe may have to back track on that one as well..

Higgins reacts to Lenihan 'kebabs' remark
The Socialist Party TD, Joe Higgins, has said that the Minister of State at the Department of Foreign Affairs, Conor Lenihan, should resign his post if he was referring to the Turkish GAMA Construction workers as kebabs.

The Socialist Party even copied the story to their own website..

Higgins calls for Lenihan to resign

There's the problem with socialism. The lads at the top always protect their own. Happened in every socialist state that ever existed and that's why as public outrage grows on their double standards they eventually have to resort to the gun to keep power.

Listening to the self-proclaimed Champion of the Ordinary Working Man makes for sad radio this morning ........ Joe Higgins shown up as a spoofer and a waffler with the typical politicians very convenient dual conscience.

Sooner or later they all slide off the high moral ground ....... this morning Joe Higgins came crashing down.

Pat Kenny is in flying form this morning

I think what he meant to say was "all animals are equal but some are more equal than others"

I think Higgins' point was that he has never demanded that somebody resign from an elected position. Perhaps there is evidence of him doing just that, but I can't find any right now.

Higgins' comments on this aren't a million miles away from the Taoiseach's.

Jaysus, the Radio Forum is getting more reactionary by the day. It's becoming to resemble The Daily Mail in here.

Well...that argument is only valid, if Wallace actually paid the tax he owed. Can't pay those benefits with no tax take.

Heard on the News that other great champion of the working classes - Claire Daly - is standing four square behind her tax dodging mate from Wexford

Nice one Claire ...... so much for CHANGE eh?:(

But don't you know just how important kicking a child's toy around a field is?

And next thing he'll be onto the Eucharistic Congress.

I'm hanging out in Lyric Land today!

Pat Kenny.....thankfully won't be in the chair tomorrow as the very educational Myles Dungan will as good old Pat is jetting off to Poland to see Spain wallop Ireland.....

Paid reputably 730 thousand Euro per year for 10 hours work on the radio and about 2 hours television work per week.....

An absolute parasite of a man who's attitude on the 50th anniversary Late Late Show was pathetic, especially with his words of wisdom to the attention seeking Brian D'Arcy.

    Very vitriolic indeed.

Kenny is, in my opinion the best broadcaster on Irish radio.
Did you not hear him having Joe Higgins for breakfast only last week ?

As for his 'words of wisdom to the attention seeking Brian D'Arcy' on the Late Late Show, you're completely missing the point.

Kenny's mini tirade that night was not simply a specific show of solidarity for D'arcy but an expression of justifiable venom at the idea that the Vatican can bully Irish journalists into forced silence by threats.

Never mind the Twink bullshít or Liam Neeson being jarred.
Kenny's comments were the defining moment of that Late Late Show, and they copperfastened his place as the most adept current affairs broadcaster in RTÉ.

Ask Blair Horan who does he think is in more denial, the Irish fans singing "You cant beat the Irish" or the unions thinking that they are gonna be able to hang on to the Croke Park Agreement..
THE leader of the union responsible for the strike at the Passport Office in 2010 has retired. Blair Horan stepped down from his €120,000-a-year role as general secretary of the Civil Public and Services Union having reached the union's mandatory retirement age of 60.

The unions have certainly served Blair well anyway..

Fair f*cks to whoever said get rid of that cringeworthy chant "you'll never beat the Irish".

Almost worth the hammering they got last night if I never hear that moronic ****e ever again. If the Brits sang it we'd be laughing our dicks off at them.

Almost as bad as 'Irelands Call'.

There's one thing I dislike more than football.

    Wafflers waffling about football.

The only item of interest was Pat's visit to the shipyard.

Shame it was let down by lousy audio.
