Average about 4 times a day maybe. Twice when I'm not bothered.

8 max, but i don't always do the full wash with handwash. When im in work though it would be 10-12max.

Dont like the feel of hand sanitiser, i have to wash them and then cover them in hand cream, no sooner have i the hand cream on i touch something else and i have to wash my hand again

about 35 times a day

I hate when customers come into my work to buy lunch and have visible dirt on their hands. What's the problem...wash them before leaving work. I don't care if you're a big macho plumber. You're just a barcode with dirty hands to me.

Yeh that drove me mad in the shop, the amount of dust on the stuff, some of us wore the latex gloves, and we had the mechanics coming in covered in oil. (oil is hard to get off though).

Wow, surprised you have any hands after all that scrubbing.

I would wash my hands fairly frequently, maybe 7-8 times per day.
What gets me is the amount of folks who don't wash their
hands properly. Me, wet hands, apply soap/gel and wash hands
until soap is well lathered, making sure to clean hands and nails before
rinsing well off.

Most people apply the gel first, then wet the hands, resulting in most of the
soap or gel being instantly removed, and then the half ass wash their hands..

Regarding after taking a leak. Remember, unless your hands are being splashed
with urine, touching the skin on your penis isn't all that different than
touching any other part of your skin. Does one automatically wash their hands after
touching their leg, shoulder, arm etc? Unless your penis is sweaty and
smelly, then the need to always wash hands after urinating is not needed.

at work, feckin stupid ammount, but obviously not enough, cos us nurses spread the plague....its got absolutely nothing to do with the doctors..(dirty bastards)...or just the public visiting that are not aware of the risk...

I've never kept count of how many times a day, generally it's just:

After using the toilet
Before preparing food
Probably a couple of times during food prep, especially if I'm handling raw meat
After touching the bin

Is it weird that I'd be much more likely to wash my hands after petting someone else's dog, than after petting my own?
