    I caught one of them bucks in Clew bay, Westport about 10 yrs ago. It was an exotic species so they gave me enough points to win the junior comp I was fishing in at the time!

    Trigger fish are common during the summer months here in donegal and are even caught in abundance towards the end of the palegic comercial mackerel fishing season as early as march by the big tank boats but are just discarded into the offal bins for fishmeal onshore.. but we must remember here that monkfish were used as lobster pot bait up until 20 years ago as they were considered too ugly to eat
