    Lads any film recommendations?

what sort of flick you looking for?

Some great foreign flicks if you don't mind subtitles. Gegen die Wand (Head-on) is a great German one. Any of Werner Herzog's movies are worth a watch. Aguirre is particularly good for Klaus Kinski's performance.

Have you seen all of Shane Meadow's films? Dead Man's Shoes is savage. Highly recommended.

Here's a great site for reviews of both new and old

City of God is top drawer. If you like that, you should watch Elite Squad http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0861739/

    Another Brazilian.

Why won't the photo come up? :(

  • Registered Users Posts: 14,262 ✭✭✭✭SteelyDanJalapeno

Was looking along those lines alright.

    Huskie or Japanese/American Akita

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 18,335 ✭✭✭✭UrbanSea

A mate of mine has a huskie
    Another has a Japanese Akita.
I much rather the Akita, the white ones are lovely. Big strong boy though, much stronger than the Huskie. Have you ever seen one in real life? It's head is MASSIVE. Friendly though

One attacked an alsation I had a few years ago, had to give it a whack of a hurley, thats about the closest i've came to one, this one seemed aggressive, but i've been assured they are need an overly aggressive breed at all.

I've also been asked to go down the sanctuary route if possible.

My favourites are(but you wouldn't find them knocking around shelters) would be:
    Samoyeds
    White German Shepherds
Alaskan Malamute,I think they're better than Huskies

We got our last Alsation in there, he had been given by a family who didn't know he would get that big,

Poor lad has the strangest fear of water, I always wonder did someone try drown him before we got him.

    Anybody have anything on it?

Really fancy Leinster to cover the 4 point cap at the Aviva to night. Munster not the team of old and feel Leinster have a serious team out even without an aging BOD.. Have backed accordingly.
