This is no joke:

A guy of about 16 just cycled by me holding a chainsaw. He had one hand on the handlebars and one holding the chainsaw with the front half (part used for cutting) resting on the middle of the handlebars. It was a very strange sight. He was in trouble if he hit a pothole and fell off.

Outside the rds today I saw a women cycling a strange looking bike - it had a sort of large bucket/ box at the front [ think dump truck but out in front]
She was pedaling like mad and her three kids :eek: were out in front standing up inside this large 'bucket' contraction. Think she might have collected them from school!

Saw two huge trees denuded of foliage and small branches (and roots obviously) being low loaded through the park heading towards the monkey enclosure in the zoo.
I would love to see a speeded up video of the of the whole operation starting with men climbing over the tree with chainsaws and finishing with monkeys just climbing.

Saw a 50 euro note blowing along the path last night!! It's now in my wallet:D

Bit of a backdated entry - was in Croatia last month and managed to run 6 times in 2 weeks. Didn't plan the routes before hand so the runs were very much of an explanatory nature (which might help explain one of my sightings):

1) A nudist beach
2) Croatian football legend Alan Boksic having a coffee outside his flat in Markarska
3) Loads of gekkos
4) Mackerel being sold by local fisherman in Dubrovnik literally 30 seconds after being caught

A definite change from the usual sightings in rural county Limerick:pac:
