LinkedIn is looking for a Research Analyst to help support our Marketing Solutions business through research. This position allows you to use third party research tools, such as ComScore, UKOM, Business Elite Europe and TGI to provide research analysis and insights to support ad sales.

This is an exceptional opportunity for someone who has some experience working as a media agency analyst or researcher at a media owner and wants to proactively look for stories in the data. This is a fast-moving team, and the role has a lot of potential to grow quickly. The perfect candidate should be willing to proactively look for stories in the data, enjoy presenting and can confidently present data in a compelling way. This role will support a fast-growing sales team across EMEA.
Desired Skills & Experience

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Support sales teams with new and creative research designed to demonstrate the value of LinkedIn Advertising solutions.

Pull stories from the 3rd party data to support Requests for Proposals (RFPs) working with our research, sales and account planning teams

Create sales materials, collateral and presentations using 3rd party research data

EXPERIENCE

1-3 years of experience in qualitative and quantitative research. You may have worked at a market research firm, management consulting, corporate market research group, media agency or media owner.
Undergraduate degree from top tier university. Clear track record of academic and professional excellence in analytical fields of work and study.
Experience with audience and media planning tools including Nielsen, ComScore, Kantar (TNS), etc.
Comfort with analytical and data analysis tools including Excel and Microstrategy required
Ability to tell compelling stories using multiple data sources
Experience with database query programming and SQL required
Demonstrated ability to perform in a start-up or small team environment
Understands the basics of sample design, sample bias, test and control groups and sample balancing
Experience with primary research (particularly in conducting surveys and research interviews) a strong plus
Experience with advertising and brand research a strong plus
