    Hi,

I make a spicy chorizo and cannellini bean stew and was wondering of what you guys thought of it health and nutrition wise.....

    150 chorizo
    1 onion
    1 bell pepper chopped
    2 sticks celery
    3 carrots
    3 cloves garlic
    oregano
    basil
chilli - flakes or a chilli
    passata

fry off the garlic and chorizo in olive oil. add the rest ( bar cannelli and passata ) and fry off. Once happy everything is cooked dump in passata and beans - simmer for 20 mins

your done - so, I know the chorizo is fat as is the olive oil but otherwise this should be fairly healthy right ?

    Thanks
    Rob

If the chorizo is good quality, not the kind that's full of junk, it should be fine. Fat is not bad, unless it is poor quality or transfats.
