    Learning to sail,

Have no experience of Sailing but I have always had the interest in learning. This obv stems from the many times I have spent on boats over the years big or small.

Anyway can anyone point me in the direction of learning? I don'nt have any friends or contacts involved in it.

Editing this to point out that I'm not looking to spend big bucks on it at the mo.

    Many thanks

    Cullen82

For learning to sail bigger boats have a look at http://www.sailingwest.ie/ and for regular sailing http://www.sailingindublin.ie/

    Both based in Dun Laoghaire

Just go along to your local sailing club and offer to crew.

Check out Glenans Irish Sailing Club. They offer courses for a weekend or a week in Baltimore (crusing) or Westport (dinghys-catamarans). No experience necessary. They get loads of people who come down for a weekend on their own for a taster of what sailing is all about. http://www.gisc.ie/
