    Great running by Rupp, looked to be hurting over the last few k but held it together, must be the first non-african born male to win a major in a decade.

    Dibaba is something else, leading every step from the first to the last, only 30 seconds behind Radcliffes Course record without the aid of a designated pacer. Some Performance from Hasay as well, Overtakes Joan Benoit-Samuelson as the second fastest American ever with 2:20.58 today. Deena Kastor's American record could be in danger given Hasay is only 26 and just getting started in the marathon.

    Anybody know why the Ukrainians are not wearing any kind of official kit? Seems most are wearing black. Some form of protest or maybe a dispute with suppliers or athletics association?
