    It's a completely personal thing.

    I think anything should go if all parties want it and there is no coercion and no breaking of sensible law*

    Personally, I hate the idea of stuff that involves power play, humiliation or degradation, or stuff like felching but each to their own if all parties are cool with it.



    * by which I don't mean breaking under-age laws or anything - more like, say, laws against homosexuality or anal sex in certain countries.

    heterosexual, just fancies exploring a side to her sexuality that isnt often discussed in polite circles

    At a guess, its probably more a more likely to be slightly narcisisstic or power based fantasy wise.

    In a technical sense (sociology time), "deviancy" is set by societal norms. Silly as it may seem, societal norms are probably anything sexual, naughty, whatever word you like, you can mention without someone giggling like an idiot. Outside that, you're into deviancy-land.

    I'm rather un-prudish so I don't have an issue with "deviancy", nor a useful personal definition. Stay away from eating people and chopping off bits, even where that's consensual. Call me old fashioned but I definitely think that's wrong, on the basis that neither of those things are sane or safe. Oh, and animals, having sex with minors, the "wrong" things. Other than that, knock yourself out. If that's what you're into.

    What's a deviant? For most people, that's what you call someone who's more creative than you are. They may or may not have looser morals as well.
