Like them too. I held your one up by her arse for most of their set at electric picnic '08! :p

Another favourite training tune of mine.

    Pretty decent that. Somewhat orbital-esque.

Aside from that Nike tune, Prodigy is what I'd listen to most while running (or nothing).

Haha for the past 3-4 days it's been popping into my head to find the old "running songs" thread that was on here a couple of months ago so thanks for starting a new one! :D

Music is really important to me when I train, be it running, metcons or just a lifting session in the gym. Here's a few of the songs I have in my current Training playlist:
I have the whole Invaders Must Die CD on there, included are a couple of good examples below.

I also have a couple of Rammstein songs, Feuer Frei has already been posted in this thread.

Some System of a Down in there.

Here are a couple of tasters for anyone looking for new music :)

Representing the home country, Quarashi! :D

Oh and I love my Marine/Navy/Army cadences:

(Hard to find examples of these but I embedded one in this vid, just jump to 0:22):

Eminem - Lose Yourself always gets me going when I really want to kick on!!!

My ipod shuffles between the usual suspects...Linkin Park, Prodigy, Faithless yaddie yada but also have Hoobstank, Matrix Reloaded soundtrack and course Guns n Roses Appetite for Destruction.

I do have some cheesy ones thrown in as well to give me a kick up the ass and yep eye of the tiger is on there!! I haven't got Chariots of Fire though :)

Totally chees-o-rama but I love when the Glee cover of Don't Stop Believing comes up - jazz hands!!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,017 ✭✭✭colly10

Don't run anymore so the musics changed but the first cd off In Search Of Sunrise 5 - Tiesto would have been the favourite to run to.

Heres a few off the album, mostly really easily listening for out running on the summers days -

For getting through the weights on a circuit this is my current favourite -
