Nah, I think Ben will out last all of them. He reminds me of Ben Fogle when he originally appeared on Cast Away (was that the name of the BBC show?) He doesn't have the natural presenting skills that Ben (Fogle) had, but he has a quality that I think will last in the long run.

I agree with you. I think he doesn't have the natural presentation skills of Ben Fogle but he has a unique warmth and I think he is a good interviewer. I'm not sure his knack for unintentional comedy would come across so well if he was out of his comfort zone unfortunately but maybe he could work on it.

I think some show like GMTV or This Morning will snap him up for doing interviews at premiers or something like that. With a few years practise under his belt he could well become a household name yet!

Why did Rachel's interview have such a harsh, negative tone to it?

    In what way??????:confused::)

    In what way??????:confused::)

It just focused purely on her being loud, annoying etc, there was no attempt to balance it out with a postive VT or focus on something else, which is usually what happens with even the most boring or nasty evictees in their interviews... maybe I'm just pissed JJ is still in there.

I know what you mean but Rachel was kind of bland. What could they have shown?

She was nice but didn't play a large role in anything. I actually liked Rachel but I think it was more out of sympathy.

I was half paying attention to it I'm afraid so didn't notice :o

I was chatting about how nicely innocent she seemed to be as she was constantly smiling and playing with her hair while she was being interviewed. While she was a boring HM, I say she's a really nice girl.

    So glad Rachels gone!
John James had a bad reaction from the crowd.... Thank god. Maybe the british public are finally seeing sense!:D

Nothing has been confirmed yet, though it would be fine if BB mixed it up good and proper.

I just hope two of them are Victor and Charley.

Doubt they'll let him back in! Charley would be brilliant and id like to see makosi again. Hmmm id say they will defo put in Brian and Nikki because they are still contributing to BBLB...

Ohhh... sounds a little like John is trying to tell Josie he's not interested. But then continuously saying "I love sleeping beside you...I'd hate not to sleep with you".

She's made some sort of "lets get it on" comment and he's responded with "Listen I don't mind messing around with you if you really want. I dont know if anyone can know if they fancy someone in here though".

She asks if this is his "dear john letter" aka the brush off and he says "ohhh did you ever see that film...". Prompt subject change!
Then he suggests that her fancying him may be sexual frustration because she hasn't been with anyone for 8 months.

It's painful. Does she want sky writing like ?Just how much rejection can one woman be consistantly drip fed until she gets the message and goes with it.

I'm in two minds ,if I want John James to stay or go .On one hand if he stays we see alot more of Josie's darker side, its to him she comes out with her best bullsh1t /lies/stories, also (besides Sam) its JJ ,it a way ,who's has been the target of her nasty streak, which will only help speed up her downfall IMO .
On the other hand I think John James has acted as a type of shield for Josie against the other House Mates .I think she would/will have got one or two more nominations if he wasn't there . JJ is the easier option of the two , if you know what I mean.
So if he goes we could see her up:D

    From DS

Josie has been punished by Big Brother this evening and can no longer nominate Sam in next week's nominations.

The Bristolian was called to the Diary Room earlier tonight and soon returned to tell John James the news.

"Don’t tell him 'cause it'll make his day," Josie began. "You know you said I'll be going in all guns blazing listing ten things?"

John James guessed the news immediately but promised to keep the punishment a secret from the rest of the group.

Later in the garden, Josie spoke to Corin about her dislike of the graffiti artist. "I'm so angry and I don’t know why, maybe it's not Sam Pepper," she said.

Corin advised: "Try [to] make a new start, try to forget about it. I know you did when he came in here but the thing is... it could be that he might like you like the school kid in the playground.

"'Cause he is a decent guy and I know you’re going to disagree but he is. And I think if you two go together and you say, 'You have hurt me and I'm willing to wipe the slate clean'."

However, Josie ignored this idea and instead declared that she would love to be up for eviction on Monday so she could swap Sam's face for hers in the 'Save & Replace' task.

"I'd do it with such a smile on my face as well," she added.

Hearing the conversation later on, Sam shouted from the house: "I never said I didn’t like you... you're starting to make me not like you."

Jo attempted to give Josie some advice, describing Josie's dislike for Sam as "some kind of outlet for the tension".

"But you stroke him back, how does he cope with it then?" she added. "It’s a punishment for one another."

    ............................................................

1 Josie's plan to keep it a secret could backfire , You know BB is going to announce before Nominations begin the HM's who cannot vote for Sam and when her name is said ,the others may wonder why she never told them and some might even see it as her trying to use them ,

    2. She has a plan B already , Get them to put her up knowing/thinking its JJ she'll face in the save and replace and she'll be able to get him to throw the task , Good plan but again if she doesn't tell the other HM's the truth about her lack of voting options ,would backfire , no one like been used..

    ..

It's funny how Josie thinks Sam will be voted out as soon as he's up :p

He probably will be though. Just because he's popular on the internet doesn't really count for much.

I'd love to see him survive an eviction though, Josie would crap her pants.:D

Cringe for Josie in this video:o:o:o

    http://bb-cache.channel4.com/bigbrother/video/2010/Aug/7/josie-and-john-james-do-they-kiss/play.c4

She puckers her lips up to kiss him and he lowers his head so that she gets his forehead instead of his lips.............

You can see straight away by her face that she is embarrassed but she then continues talking to him and doing her ridiculous laugh!!!

She would probably win this series if she stood up and fcuked him out of it for messing her around!!! She'd definitely go up in my estimations

    Dave is a class 1 c*nt:mad::mad:

Just watched him there on LF and he was wondering out loud where Ben would be right now????

He then said that he was probably fleecing some old lady over the age of 60 somewhere, by smoothing her over whilst slipping the gold rings off her fingers!!!

Bet we won't get to see him saying that either, yet we get to see every nasty comment Sam Pepper says!!!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 9,286 ✭✭✭WesternNight

See, she's telling him that he's making it worse, and there's another video where she says much the same...but he continues to hug her and kiss her on the forehead etc and he just can't see what he's doing wrong.

For his sake I kind of hope he doesn't have any feelings for her that he wants to pursue when they get out because it's getting to the point where she's getting quite fed up with the whole thing and might be happy enough to forget about him when she goes home.

Another video where JJ1 clearly shows he doesn't fancy Josie.

This one really sums their relationship up :

Never before must a man have been so relieved to have been struck in the privates :p

On DS that Josie and JJ 2 passed the secret task ,Doubling their money and making them heroes,

How the fcuk is that possible when John James Cop on to the task and follow them around making sly remarks , Thought if HM's are discovered during a secret task its a fail , maybe certain rules only apply to certain HM's :(
