ROCKMAN you're right, Mario admitted to someone last week that he only made up his secret to make himself seem more interesting. I read the story on DS, but can't find it now. Sure he was supposed to reveal it in week 6

    A snake... etc ;)

Ok found the story I was looking for. Strongy conflicting with a story from today.

    From 29th July:
Mario asked housemates to leave him alone this evening after expressing frustration with his role in the Big Brother house.

He became upset during a quiz which Ben and Jo had prepared for housemates, and stormed off to the Diary Room after feeling that the quiz was fixed.

When he left the Diary Room a short while later the waiting housemates cheered him, but he immediately went into the bedroom and asked Rachel to go away when she followed him in.

Eventually John James came in and convinced Mario to talk about what had upset him.

"Everything in this place is artificial," Mario told him. "Maybe I'm the artificial one."

He then went on to warn John James that there wasn't a big secret about him like he had claimed in the first few weeks, before admitting that he feels like he has no role in the house.

"I was the random mistake of being picked out," Mario claimed.

John James suggested that maybe Mario felt like that because everyone he had become close to in the house had been evicted, using Sunshine, Nathan and Ife as examples.

"He's got a different role now too," John James said when the conversation turned to Mario's former best friend Ben.

    "He's the player!" Mario exclaimed.

Mario finally told John James that he wasn't sure how to express his irritation towards other housemates about their approach to this week's task.

He said that he felt like he would just get angry at the others and suggested that leaving the house may be the only way to avoid a confrontation.

    From 6th August:
The housemates have been speculating over what Mario's 'secret' is.

In week one, Mario told the housemates that he would reveal a secret about himself in week six. The group have since wondered what it could be.

"Have you actually got a secret that you're keeping from everyone?" JJ asked.

"I didn't really think it was a secret. It was other people that made a big deal out of it," Mario replied.

"So what is it then?" asked JJ. "If it's not a secret and people are making a big deal, then tell us."

David tried to guess what Mario's secret could be, suggesting that "his dad is Robert De Niro".

JJ said that he thinks Steve and Ben may know Mario's secret. However, Steve denied knowing anything.

David then said: "Mole, seen as you face-swapped me this week - friend, trusted companion. Do you think you could tell me just to reaffirm that we are great friends? This would definitely alleviate any concerns I’ve got regarding our friendship.

"If you tell me your little secret I promise you I would not tell another soul ever."

Mario still refused to reveal his secret.

"I think it's to do with royalty. I think you're related to the Italian Royal Regiment or something," said David. "The mole's a prince!"

Intensifying the mystery, Mario told the housemates: "I was just advised not to talk about it."

"By your lawyer or something?" asked Sam.

"I can't wait til this whole series is over just to find out the mole's little secret," smiled JJ.

Mario is doing his utmost to try and be interesting. Even his fake secret fails to move him off his position of dullest housemate.

The BB website is making a thing of it too...if there's no secret at all then it's a bit disingenuous to hoodwink us as well.

If there *was* a secret...I'd been thinking it might have something to do with his mother in America. Or the Italian father he never knew. But when he never said anything about it since threatening to that one time...I'd assumed he'd been bullshítting.

John James annoyed Josie this evening when he was talking about the effect Sam has had on the house.

During a conversation in the kitchen, the Australian told Andrew that, if he was watching the show, he would enjoy watching Sam as he has caused problems in the house.

"I'd definitely vote for him, to keep him in, because he is winding everyone up," he said.

"This house went from being boring on TV to being dead interesting," Andrew agreed.

Josie, who was washing up at the sink, disagreed. "That’s a load of ****," the Bristolian stated before getting angry with John James's praise of Sam.

"If you want to talk about how great he is, can you do it somewhere else?" she asked.

John James told her it was not just him that was talking about Sam and that he didn't agree with the things Sam had said.

Sam then walked into the kitchen and John James took him to task over the things he had said to Josie.

"You need to pipe it down a bit," John James advised, explaining that Sam took things too far when he insulted people personally.

"When did I insult someone?" Sam replied, before asking if John James was referring to Josie.

John James confirmed he was and Sam tried to explain his comments about Josie, saying that they were not meant to be taken seriously.

"Normally if I am insulting someone it's when we're having banter… I was just ripping Josie, but she was giving it back as much as I was giving it to her," he declared.

"I thought what you said was out of line," John James told him.

Sam then quickly moved to apologise: "Sorry if that upset you Josie," before he left the kitchen.

John James then asked Josie if she was still angry with him, and she told him that he had made the situation worse.

"You don’t understand what you've just done John," Josie said.

John James insisted he hadn't told Sam anything that he could use against Josie. "I haven't given him bait," he said.

Josie disagreed, telling John James he had given him bait, as Sam now knows that he upset her.

"You got an apology out of him," John defended.

"Do you know how clever he is? He's just playing a little ****ing game," Josie told John, saying that she expected Sam to continue to wind her up.

Yeah Josie, how dare *anyone* not like you? Madness...

Re. Mario's secret , On the DS forums : Someone has posted a link , which shows Mario in the BB 8 house as a dummy house mate. ( When the hosts to the launch project Carr and Collins did a sketch for the house.)

Don't know if this is what the snake is on about ?

Mario's secret is he shags old men for money. He is constantly talking about his friends buying him expensive gifts like the £6000 pound big brother chair or spending thousands on clothes and holidays. Sam was questioning him on it and he started to get nervous.

Being serious though I don't think there is a secret. I think mario is disappointed din himself as a house mate because he is such a big fan of the show he knows that he wouldn't like to watch a house mate like him.

There was a thread on DS about that the other day. Apparantly his source has told him who is leaving each week and he's won a fortune...complete BS! Bar the first week or two, the evictions have been extremely predictable. He's a douche. And them two are still together??!!!

Are they still together?? Christ...thought she might have gotten some sense or something in the last year.

For someone who clearly had no interest in the whole BB thing, he has a lot to say about it.

Digital Spy, it's a UK website. They have the busiest BB forum on the net.

Here's the DS BB homepage, and there's a link to the forums from there :)

13:45 - John James tells Josie that he did not have a problem with Corin until Josie told him that she was suspicious of her a few weeks ago.

Have you ever heard such shíte? He's such a horrible prick. I still change the channel when he comes on the tv. I'm sick of his permanent frown while he spouts his over-analysed conspiracy theories, brags about how down to earth, real and loyal he is, and all while falling all over his words like a complete mong.

Also, he has a really unattractive mouth. He looks like he'd be a really horrible kisser.

Apparently he sees his mother as a 'sister'... but did he not say he viewed Josie the same way?

His body language around her is so awkward, he just grabs hold of her and pets her like she's a dog

    WTF:eek:

    Sort yourself out luv!

Same here. She's playing the game just as much as he is so I have absolutely no sympathy for her.

Eh? When you notice an unattractive mouth such as that on someone who is deemed to be "fit" by the reatrded masses, it's a natural place to go. Particularly when Josie is claiming to have kissed the mong.....Ooops, did I ruin it for you? :P

John James has spoken about his distrust of Corin and Mario this afternoon, after stating that he believes they are playing a game in the house.

Speaking in the bathroom to Josie and David, he first told the pair that he believed Mario only got annoyed in the house when other people were the centre of attention.

"He doesn't like it, he doesn't want to hark up because people will know his game," John James commented.

"People like Sammy and the mole definitely want camera time, that's why he wanted a main part in the musical task, that's why he wants to win the task so he can be the main focus of the show. He wants the programme to be about Mario."

David then turned his attention to tonight's eviction and stated that he did not want Rachel to go - leading John James to comment that women were typically unpopular housemates on Big Brother.

"Girls get annoyed by other girls," he explained. "If it wasn't a majority of guys I think if Corin was up against a guy she'd go as well.

"You'll see, next time she goes up against a Dave and an Andrew she'll be gone."

David agreed and speculated that the retail assistant could come across as "really annoying".

"Definitely, she's annoying in here who knows about out there?" replied John James. "Even when she argues and that her voice is annoying."

When David and Josie disagreed that Corin had "been through a lot" before coming in, John James commented that all housemates had.

Speaking later to Josie alone, John James added that he had originally not had a problem with Corin until Josie and Caoimhe pointed out to him that she appeared untrustworthy after angrily accusing them of touching her wigs.

"It was you and Caoimhe who made up your mind about Corin, not me," he said. "That day I felt sorry for Corin because you touched her wigs then you explained it to me and I've never looked back."

Josie argued that she soon changed her mind about Corin after that conversation and that the Katie Price-lookalike clearly did not like arguing. However this was met with disagreement from John James.

Oh look more claims of gameplaying. He's setting Mario and Corin up for next weeks noms.

I think both he and Dave definitely have their eye on Corin for next week.

Anyone see JJ and Corin talking in bed last night? She was explaining to him about her girlfriend and her relationship with her.

She said when she left school what she wanted most was to get married and have children. Then she met her husband, got married & thought she had everything she'd ever dreamed of until he was killed suddenly. Said she was devastated and in shock and met her gf some months after it. She was just friends with her GF for a year and then they got together, Corin admitted this was still in serious shock over her husband and mostly did this because she craved some security in life, though she didn't fully understand this at the time. She gave up her apartment and everything for this girl but said it dawned on her that really they were just friends and she had acted too quickly while she was still mourning for her husband. She said the year she was just friends with her GF was great but once they were together things were very rocky and it was like that for more than 2 years. It was very sad.

I think the fact that she wanted to explain all this to him really showed that she wasn't after sex or just a fling with him. He didn't really seem that interested and certainly wasn't connecting with how hard it obviously was for her to tell him all this. She looked very downbeat for the rest of the night just lying quietly beside him.
