Spring has been late in coming this year and now that is finally here why not join us in a celebration of the green leaves, blooms and blossoms to be found at a native Irish woodland such as Ardan Wood, Co Westmeath. We will be hosting a guided walk of our Ardan Wood Reserve on Saturday 04th May at 12:00.

On this walk we will be learning how to identify native Irish trees while exploring the abundance of woodland wildflowers to be found in Ardan Wood. This walk is suitable for all ages and all are welcome. This event is an opportunity to explore this fantastic woodland with a Native Woodland Trust guide who will be there to teach tree identification techniques to all and to point out the highlights of this wood, making it an informative and enjoyable event. This guided walk is free of charge to members of the Native Woodland Trust with a suggested donation of €2 for non-members, to help support the work of our charity.

Places are limited for this event so booking is advised. To book or for more details contact us at kieran.flood@nativewoodlandtrust.ie or on 087 1953629.

    Date: 04th May
Meeting Point for Event: Tyrrellspass Castle Carpark (from where we will car pool to Ardan Wood)
    Time: 11:50 – 14:00
