Cheating in the Leaving Cert

Some incredible number of people in my year cheated, none of them got courses they wanted and ended up in ITs.......

How disgusting,
1. I am currently in 6th year and I am not in the slightest bit affected by the fact i'm sitting the "most important exam of my life" around a months time,
Why?
Because it is not the "most important bla bla etc" it is in fact a load of tripe, why? Because its a chance for merely brainwashed students to memorise reams of information off without having any actual knowledge or exceptional intellect ability to be able to obtain 7/8/9 or however many ****ing A1s they desire to achieve their ****ty place in TCD
2. I find it awful that you look down upon "low level" colleges and people that "end up in IT's"
Did you ever think whether they cheated or not the idea of goin to a IT is much more prosperous to them than going to such a place as UCD just because of its name? No because your silly narrow minded and focused on one thing..
3. With regards to cheating, I have and would consider it, wouldn't blame anyone for doing it, and certainly wouldn't put my nose in if someone was doing it..
They're obviously not going to do as well as a student who has put constant work in, so let them be.. And hey karma will always sort them out.

Finally I'd like to say i'm not driven by the leaving cert I think it's a load of BS to be truthful however my four sisters are successful, one being a maths teacher, the other being a engineering analyst earning quiet a high salary who got a job with a degree from an IT and the other two have art and design degrees from limerick one specialising in design and the other in ceramics, so just because of my opinion on the leaving cert and on ITs don't presume I'm from a "low level" part of society or the likes.

No I'm not mad.. It's horrific the fact someone thinks they can say oh sure the cheaters the one who's probably lookin to get in t a low level IT .. Get your head, your 6A leaving cert and your eventual trinity degree out of your arse and enter the real world .. Your leavin cert soon becomes a vague useless memory so stop the whole omg ppl are cheating omg I need 600 points omg its the most important test of my life.

Thread necromancy. I think it's safe to say the poster you quoted isn't overly concerned that you disagree with a post they made two years ago.

Your sisters' achievements are also irrelevant, they may be successful, doesn't mean you will be, especially with an attitude like that.

Believe it or not being able to get 7 A1s does actually show some kind of ability for learning and you cant rote learn languages or maths, for the most part. Intelligence is a real thing. :rolleyes:

And I doubt the poster was looking down on ITs, more the fact that their points are lower and laughing at the fact that the cheaters couldnt even get into higher point colleges by cheating.

I don't care whether or not the author of the post I quoted sees my disgust at what they said, I was just making a point towards the attidude of leaving cert students that take the exam ridiculously too seriously,

Since the attidude of those people is quiet tarring and they have a urge to stereotype I gave an insight into my siblings abilities to show my family is not lazy nor cheaters or do they "find the easy way out"

My attitude towards the leaving doesn't effect my ability to achieve what I want with flying colours,

For it is not whether you like the task you have to do, it's about how you get it done.
