Para cyclists were training on it this morning

Looks like its open now for anyone to cycle around. Sort of turnstile thing at the entrance to let bicycles in but keep motorbikes, horses, cars etc out. Not sure if supervisors required etc for insurance etc though

Fair play to all involved. Will be a great racing and training facility near the city and m50. I presume there will be evening racing for all levels there next summer?!? Maybe morana can confirm?!?

    Nice fencing around it too!!

Thanks Bob. I certainly hope there is racing on it for all cats. Our good friends in the IVCA are interested in it as well. Official opening will be next spring. Once again I must mention the man who did all the spade work 11 years ago Mick Lawless. Take a bow!

Get out on it and enjoy it. post your fastest lap !!

So it's open for all, anytime once park is open?

I note there are a few route options?

Would there need to be a disclaimer notice and details on giving right of way to avoid collisions at the junctions?

Some signage has to be put up at the entrance but I think your point is a good one re way etc. I will speak to the boss about it.

Just noticed this post and well done to all involved, I took a spin around it yesterday eve with the young lad and its very nice, corners are super and a nice drag back to the gate. However as i was going around i did notice in some sections what looks like grass coming up through the tarmac! I didnt really inspect it (will next time) but i hope to god that its not a slapstick effort on behalf of the contractor.

Looks like grass seeds were spread on the soil so hopefully the grass on a Tarmac is just from a few seeds going astray

I would doubt it It was just signed off by a lad from England who specialises in these circuits. He said it was one of the best he has ever seen!

Grass seeds, Yeah makes sense I never thought of that, Because my first impression was that alot of work went into the construction especially on the bends. Lets just hope it gets some good use.

Sounds great, Sorry I moved out of Dublin now with the indoor track but most peeved about the park as I used to live right by the entrance.

I was passing Corkagh Park today and rode the track with a handheld camera.

I went the wrong way round according to the official circuit map.

    This is speeded up (x3).
