Is this the Northern version of the one held in Birr. If so give it a wide miss. I went last year and it was pure crap. 1 gun stall, then all the rest were stalls of food, (ordinary) clothing, kids games, etc.

Even if its not be careful before driving. I have a few dealer friends in NI and they said due to recession, change in gun laws, etc, etc more and more dealers/vendors are pulling out of events like this.

Not trying to put anyone off, but i would have liked it if someone warned me before i drove nearly 4 hours to the one last year. (I'm a slow driver btw)

The Game Fair on today (29th / 30th) is the National Country Sports Fair, I was at it myself and it wasnt bad...Some good displays, but they held back all the lurcher and terrier racing and showing until sunday which nobody really knew about until they arrived today. To be fair, its a copy of the Shanes castle game fair, which is the original

Shanes Castle is, 26th & 27th June...And then their southern one in Birr in August.

Exactly, Shanes Castle is the original and best!
