Defo Clothes that don't fit/shape properly, it's horrible. Girls who wear bra's that don't fit properly, you should only have two boobs - left and right, not two on each side.

Jumpsuits/playsuits - I know these are trendy right now, but I hate them. I think they suit very few people.

I really like them:) on me anyway... well the short kind, the ones with long legs don't really look good on anyone

socks with sandals, shoes with tracksuit bottoms, those gold leggings that were out a while back, tracksuit bottoms pulled up to the last with a polo shirt tucked in....why o why?? :p

+1 on the too small bras!

    I can't stand Ugg boots.

I am guilty of the ill fitting but my boobies keep changing throughout the month and they are a bit asymetrical. I am a DD so cheap bras don't do the job, I like the Chantelle ones.

Oh GOD, I was on the bus the other morning and there was one girl who was just wearing tights as leggings. They were almost see-through and you could see the big seam down the backside and that crotch seam too. And she was only wearing a tshirt to her hips.

AWFUL. I've nothing against leggings as long as your arse is covered basically.

Oh my god, I've seen this too! A girl wearing black tights with white knickers underneath! What was she thinking? Why did her friends not tell her to go and put on a skirt?

Ugh, saw a girl yesterday wearing an oversized adidas jumper and thick tights. Just that. WHY??? She was doing exams granted but in fairness it takes about four seconds to put on bottoms. Tights and an adidas jumper. My eyes will never be the same.

I think you meant actual legging material with patterns stitched on dod you? The ones you were talking about are different, maybe they're a type of jegging but the ones I wear are like leggings that are made of jeans material, they're just really like skinny jeans, I love them, all the skinny jeans I've tried have a baggy arse and aren't tight enough on the bottom of my legs, I look ridiculous

I like the ones that are more denim-y too, especially with long tops. The ones that are obviously comfy leggings material give no support and make people go wibbly wobbly.

Hate when people wear leggings without a long top/short dress..looks awful! No idea why they do it...
Seen someone a while ago wearing tights with huge holes in them aswell, wtf??

The messy hair thing aswell, like really bad messy,or when they tie a pony tail nearly at the top of their friggin head??

Loads of girls in my year are doin this now and I don't think it looks good at aaaaall imo..

The thing that I dislike (with more intensity than I know is good for me) is lace worn directly over skin.

If the lace has a lining fabric of some sort under it, I'm usually OK with that, but to my eyes skin showing through unlined lace looks like some kind of hideous skin disease.

Lol that's a mad one! :D I'd say a few fella's might disagree with ya on that one though ;) Do you mean lace tights or lace in general? I love the stuff can't get enough of it myself. Even bought little white lace gloves there the last day! Very summery :)

Very happy with all the Ugg boot bashing here, there awful looking things, but my pet hate is jeans with no ass pockets, very unflattering on women, never seen a women pull that look off, just makes your ass look big.....and wide

And tracksuits outside of a gym are just wrong......and bloody shoulder pads, theyre crap too.....i could be here all day

Women in casual jeans and t-shirts do it for me:o

Only one thing worse than Uggs and that's F'Uggs [fake uggs!]. Utterly shocking.

Meanwhile, back in the bad taste department...jeans around yer thighs rather then around your ass. The low slung, crotch between the knees, see my tighty whiteys look.

    +infinity on this

Unfortunately it is very 'trendy', thanks to it's usage amongst the hip-hop and punk rock scene and now seems to be a uniform of sorts. I hate this look, and I find it stupid and vaguely disgusting.

Lads, it is called 'underwear' for a reason! It's meant to be worn under your clothes at all times, and not on display.

And trousers are meant to sit around your waist/hips, not hugging your friggin' thighs!!!

Women in GAA shirts. No, just no. You are the sole reason people used to start threads on After Hours about how much more attractive Eastern European women are.

Culchie dudes in dark blue Wrangler jeans with a dark blue button-up poloneck tucked into them and a pair of shiny shoes that are no more made of leather than the shiny belt around their waist.

Polyester ties with big chunky knots on them. You look like a Fianna Fáil wannabe at a wedding reception.

Clip on bow ties. You look like a waiter. Learn to tie it yourself or admit you've no right to wear one.

Novelty ties - Micky Mouse / Warner Bros characters etc. Wearer is a guaranteed ****.

Some proper lardy young wan I saw on O'Connell street the other day in flesh coloured leggings and a tight flesh coloured t-shirt (same tone) and a black waistcoast, with crudely smeared fake tan (in a sliiiightly darker shade than the clothes she had on) all over most of the bits that were bulging out of her clothes (which were valiantly struggling to cover her.

Long black leather trenchcoats. You do not look like a futuristic cyborg assassin striding through the Matrix, you look like the call centre IT guy with the scarily large DVD collection.

Really flared big baggy jeans with those wallet chains. You weren't even alive when that was acceptable for all of a week in the early 90's and your presence outside Central Bank is the reason they fenced off the steps that I used to sit on at lunchtime.

    :D perfect summation! Very good.

Ugh, people wearing size-too-small clothes bothers me too! Can't count the number of times I've had to enlighten friends that if the size 12 dress doesn't fit, there's another, slightly bigger dress on the rack that will. Cue horrified expression.

Wear the clothes that fit! Sizing is so erratic in Ireland it's practically a myth.

+1 on fake nails and harem pants. Plasticy talons make my skin crawl. As for fake tan, I do hate it, but I'd be perfectly happy for everyone to go on using it so my lovely pale skin remains a novelty ;)

"Women in GAA shirts. No, just no" completely agree- hate them- even the nylon texture annoys me- also hate that 'jock' look with collar flicked up on Polo shirt- just so I don't completely pick on GAA fans!

i don't mind jennings on people that have the figure to pull them off....but theres nothing worse than seeing a fat girl poured into a pair and her legs are stuck together till the knees ekkkkk.

i hate cheap looking jeans on men you know the one s they got for ten euro in pennys which are too baggy at the crotch and too tight on the calfs a bright blue colour!

Lace can be utterly lovely as a decoration, and I have a good selection in my sewing stash. I have seen some beautiful garments made with a layer of lace over either matching or contrasting under-fabric.

Decorated net is almost OK, but there's just something about an all-over patterned lace laying directly on skin that makes my skin crawl.

I'm perfectly happy to admit that it's a mad one :D

Cheap fake tan. I'm not keen on fake tan at the first place, but the horrible orange one is just wahhaaaay too much. Especially when accompanied with really blonde hair. Looks like a mandarin with a wig.

im so happy there is a thread to express my distaste in Ugg Boots...was in Paris in 2008 and every girl i saw in Starbucks, with Ugg Boots, overdone MAC make up and straw hair...i knew was Irish, as they completely stood out from the French girls (ive been living in France for 4 years). Ugg boots never caught on in France, so when I went back to Dublin I was in shock horror at how popular there were.

Ok the French style is a bit boring...blacks/greys and thats it and 20 something year old men wearing skinny jeans. Ok French girls are all skinny and therefore can wear "skinny" jeans, but I doubt many Irish girls should be wearing them. As for Maxi dresses, they should only be for people over 5ft8 and not tiny people...who needs to live in a tent?

The whole "80s" look is just bad. It was awful 1st time around and its certainly not any better now. Jeggings are just bad. The tacky cheap dresses at the moment which are all made with the same cheap material (aka dresses.ie or hotmiamistyles ****e)

Low rise jeans which show thongs.

Oh yeah and men wearing cheap Penny's/Tesco's jeans which are too high rise, aka simon cowell looking.
