    lol :)
they should start making some realistic films... none of this boy meets girl falls in love at first sight rubbish... they should start telling it like it is.... girl goes out thinking she looks pretty gets absolutely nowhere... some drunk yolk who looks like he may throw up or fall over is the only thing (thing used as the nicest possible word i can use to describe it) that comes anywhere near you....
    rant over :o

They are all out playing tag rugby and such, try a few different social channels as opposed to just nights out.

So are you approaching guys and getting knocked back?

If i wanted to meet a guy, a night club is definitely not the place i would look or even want to find one!
Sure with a few drinks on them, guys literally lose all inhibitions. Despite their thinking, if some guy comes over to me, slaps my ass on the dance floor, I am not going to swoon and start eating face (gross term, sorry) nor would i even consider him relationship material! Like A fine example of this is Coppers, boys r are all about the touching and it's just not a desirable quality in a man. Much rather meet someone through friends of friends etc.

nope i fear mass rejection :p

Seriously, there's loads of them out there. You just have to stay away from the nightclub / pub thing to find them usually, you're not getting an accurate representation of people when there's drink involved, I think.

At a guess, the type you are looking for isn't likely to be among the brash attention seekers who will use a "tried and trusted" chat up line on you in a nightclub.

With the summer coming up there is far more opportunity for other social activities to meet people through

I dont think there's one right answer as to where you can meet a nice guy.

The pub/club is still a decent spot. You just need to approach it in the right way.

It depends what you consider a nice guy to be I suppose. I'm sure most people would describe themselves as nice but maybe you wouldn't agree with them.

Did you get any matches from Speed Dating?

I'd find it very humiliating if my matches didnt match me back :(

(I think thats how it works?)

Actually, saw a good one today in the park while I was being nosey.

There was some fitness meetup thing going on, groups of people lepping and jumping. Afterwards, they were walking off, and one of the girls turned to one of the guys and said 'Do you want to go for a coffee?' and he said '...oh! yeah! Okay!' and they both had a little smiley moment.

    Simple as that.

    Thats bizarre!

Well there's guys all over the place, there's no Golden Rule to meet anyone. As you say, you'll just know when someone is your type. When you DO meet people like this, don't be shy and see if they're interested back!

Well Im hairy of face and head, have some primitive skull features, can hunt and fish, am pretty handy on the oul flint knapping and according to recent research have 4% Neandertal DNA, so we're still out there. :D

Rejoice in the awareness of feeling stupid, for that’s how you end up learning new things. If you’re not aware you’re stupid, you probably are.

    LOL!!!!
thats good to know!!! altho im looking for more of a hunter gatherer type neanderthal while i stay in the mud cave and paint pretty eyes and spirals on the walls

If you wanna come over to mine, there's a man who lives opposite to me and likes to exercise half naked in front of his window! Seems like a winner to me! :pac:

Naw, seriously, there are nice guys all over the place. Things tend to work out better if you don't approach every man with the idea of making him your boyfriend in your head though, imo. It's better to concentrate on having a fun time and who knows what'll happen along the way?!

Meeting guys in clubs all you really know about them is they like drinking and dancing or more likely are just trying to pull someone for a quickie. Why not go to events related to things your interested in and meet guys who are also interested in the same topic? Least you know you'll have one thing to talk about.

Good call. Tbh, I'm sick of people saying "Don't think you're ever gonna find a nice guy/girl in a pub/club cos it won't happen" or any of that crap. Clubs especially are not the most ideal place to meet someone, given their very nature but this notion that "nice guys/girls" don't go to clubs and spend their time instead lounging about coffee shops or playing casual sports in the park is ridiculous. I'm a pretty nice dude and I've got some amazingly nice friends; guess where we go on a Saturday night... Yep, to a club. As billybigunz said above me, it's all about the way you approach it. Paying attention only to the sleaze-ball slapping your ass and ignoring anyone else does not in any way prove that there are no nice people in clubs.

You should be, I reckon his real life name is Bubba :)

OP there are lots of nice guys everywhere, in work, out socially, amongst your friends or your friends friends, just relax and you'll find them.

In Copper Faced Sluts, this seems the thing to do to get a slapper. You goto a butchers to get meat, you goto Coppers to get a slapper I'm told. Never been to Coppers personally, though.

I was walking down the street with my girlfriend a while back and there was a woman, brazen as you like, completely naked in her bedroom window with the blinds all the way up pretending to be picking out cclothes to wear.

She turned and saw us and quickly turned back to look at the wardrobe, putting her hand to her chin as if to be in thought!

    Maybe they're related?

Two good friends of mine, lets call them Rita and Audrey, had a similar outlook on life and they decided to avail of the services of a male escort. He wasn't an escort in the sexual sense. He was a man of style and grace. A man who knew his wines, theatre, and his cutlery. Certainly no "Caveman". Perhaps you should try this angle??

There are some lovely guys out there, Don't lose faith!

I think guys really like being approached instead of being expected to do it
all the time. I think you would be pleasantly surprised if you talked to
    a guy you like.
