    ha ha its not all about the ratio for me,just cant enjoy the game at all anymore,im resorting to the very tactics that i hate about the game,as i said its only a recent problem had no trouble with it before.not much better options around here,i had ice broadband,download wasnt great but upload and ping were very good

    There are two 7 mbit packages, 7 and 7.6mbit.

    The 7.6mbit is the one people were upgraded from 3mbit to and has 672k upload and has 24:1 contention. It had high interleaving and high pings. They then introduced a new 7mbit package for gamers, its got 384k upload and 48:1 contention (same as 3mbit) but slightly better ping times. The 7mbit will get much slower in the evenings as the contention ratio is 48:1. Now consider that the max You're ever going to get on dsl is about 80% of the speed they offer (overheads of the protocol used to deliver it), 80% of 384k at 48:1 contention could easily be 100k (dial up is 56k) in the evenings when its busy.

    Not sure if they're still offering the 7.6mbit package, but some people are still on it, I am as I prefer the extra upload and 24:1 contention. 7mbit is the one people usually get sold and is the one in all bundled phone packages, see the way the craftily changed their top package from 48:1 to 24:1 contention, it was always 24:1 before this

    I had a ping of 70 on old ISprovider and used to have some decent games. Now switched to 3G o2 sim for xbox gaming and ping is about 130+ and now I win very few 1v1 and nowhere near as many kills per game. Its very annoying but the game is so damn addictive I find myself still playing when I can

    same as meself still cant stop playing it,i started using sleight of hand pro for the quicker aiming and stopping power with fmj for as much damage as possible,slight improvement but top 3 finishes are a rarity these days,got 30/7 kd last night on salvage was delighted with meself,seem to do better on the new maps,until everyone has them sussed out anyway
