I'll just throw this out there On gun club application form looking for two references What does the person write about you, Is there a standerd reference letter and how long a line or two or paragraph what? What i mean is if he never wrote one before what does he put in it.:cool: p.s If one is from an employer who writes…

They do not write letters. You put down their names so the Gardai may contact them in case they want to talk to someone to verify your character and ability to safely hold a firearm.

O/P clearly states it's for a gun club application :P

They will usually just want the names of two people to vouch for you in regard to your shooting. Usually it's existing members of the club you want to join.

RDF Real Dumb Fuc*ers (as my younger brother coined it many back in 2005!)

Almost an extinct org aprés last budget.:mad:

A great way for young people and the young at heart to get an opportunity to fire a myriad of firearms without paying for the ammo!:D:D
