A noob is not a new player , dont get mixed up between a noob and a newbie.

Of course it a game and the arguements you see on here are usually just banter or something just to wind people up.

Go into ffa with danger and just before the match starts tell him " i bet you wont be able to kill me"

I might actually do that - tell everyone where you'll be and tell them they wont have a hope of killing you - Hopefully get a few kills when they come looking for you then leave the area and kill them as they enter it - Hmmmm Might be a quick nuke

Or you could do the trilla trick and say there are boosters in such and such a place and just wait for everyone to come running.

Well - I Now have 3! Scrapyard, Worst one yet as I went about 1min 40secs without a kill, ON 24 (Was being rather careful)

As is my style - I defended the back office up to 7 for the harriers, Went to the shed around the corner after you go out the back door and got 4 kills along the way so I went to cover in the shed on the back wall and hit bout another 10 with the gunner - Harriers came in and left me with 24, Spent the next 2 minutes Praying aloud and shivering because I thought I was going to get stabbed in the back - Luckily I was'nt

Like the busses - waited for 15 days then 3 in less than 12 hours

Well done, Scrapyard can be hard to get a huge killstreak going because its fairly small and theres multiple ways people can get to you no matter where you are

Thanks, Yeah - It's actually becoming one of my favourite maps! Small and compact yet plenty of cover & equally open spaces, Usually turns out to be a great running battle!

Well arse anyway, just went 28 kills 0 deaths on Karachi and didnt have my nuke on, harrier, pavelow and chopper gunner, the chopper only got me 2 kills as everyone legged it indoors, was running around killing people as the pavelow and harrier were clearing up, bah.

Might I suggest hiding a bit and only calling in one at a time?

Also, once one has finished, give the enemy 20 or 30 seconds to get outside again, esp. for the chopper gunner.

Well with the harrier once I get the pavelow I usually just bring it in as well, I find it easy to pick people off as either everyone is running for indoors or trying to bring out anti-air weapons, usually get at least one guy with the ata or stinger aiming up as I shoot him the chopper gunner I'm not a huge fan of tbh, its great for racking up kills on certain maps, but having to get to a quiet spot to open the laptop can be a pain, sometimes you might be in a really open area and trying to find a hideyhole so nobody can sneak up on you is risky.

Can you have an ac-130 along with your harrier and pavelow in the air at the same time? i know you can with just the harrier (cos I accidentally shot my own one down once ) but I'd imagine it wont allow all 3 together

I've honestly never tried for a nuke.

My highest kill streak is 27, and I've not gotten over 20 often enough to justify it if I'm honest.

What set up would you lot use for a nuke? 7-11-25? With Harrier and Chopper Gunner, or would you throw in a pavelow or AC-130?

Yep 7 - 11 - 25 as you said - no pave-low as its too dodgy whether it'l count or not. Tbh Once you hit the harriers your pretty much given the gunner and if you can use it your up to 18 most of the time so just the another 7 like the beginning!

Just tried for the first time there on Wasteland and failed miserably. Most games I would get my Harriers, but in this game I couldn't get more than a 3 kill streak. I was very sad

Nooby, but it works.
At least I don't camp inside rocks with one man army and TI's on fuel.

Just found that out on Fuel today. Was seriously pissed off. I spend like 15 euro on maps then theres a ****ing rock in one that allows people to magically shoot out of and not get shot.
Back on topic though. I've never gotten a nuke. Got 26 kill streak but my setup was 7-9-11 so I rarely have Nuke set. I'm not that optimistic :L
I'm going to keep trying, I'm getting good with this FAL

I was on 23 kills yesterday so close to my first nuke! I never have it in my killstreaks. I had harriers and pavelow in my killstreaks, harrier was shot down straight away, but pavelow got about 10 kills. (FFA on highrise).

a few things I reckon are vital when trying to get a nuke: Scavanger and a silencer. I reckon claymores are the best equipment. You can always cover the entrance to a room.

I was working on all my Killstreak challenges over the past few weeks.

Just finished getting 10 EMP's on Saturday. I think it's going to help me get my nuke. The set-up I had for getting the EMP was 7-11-15 and with that I've been finding it easier and easier to get to 7. Playing demolition or domination I think is a must.

Will post back when I get my first nuke

no, you just kill people with noob tubes then change back into the same class and kill with noob tubes again , and do it over and over till you get 7 kills . You think youre any less pathetic than someone hiding in a rock lol

I switched on the nuke about 2 weeks ago and have been playing about an hour most nights trying to get it and did so this afternoon at last

I've been playing domination and have the following setup:

m4 carbine w/ red dot sight
spas w/ grip
claymores

scavenger
stopping power
ninja

harrier->chopper gunner->nuke

m4 is my fave gun, but need stopping power - i love its range and minimum recoil.

Anyway got home from work today and logged on - first game was on the open map with the house in the middle, not sure of the name (with the stream by the house and a power station in one corner).

Anyway i started off at C and went around B towards A and just roamed around there, near the boathouse. Also layed claymores around the place thanks to scavenger.

Got to 7 and called the harrier and dropped bombs on B so got 2 kills with that and then another 3 before it was shot down so got the gunner.

Hid under the boat house and used the gunner. Got quite a few kills but loads of their team were trying to shoot me down but i got alot of them. Not sure if i was shot down or just timed out but was happy enough with what i got.

Checked the score - and it was 21. So then got really really nervous and checked the team score (to ensure the limit wasnt nearly reached thus making my 4 kills more urgent) but score was only about 100 each or something.

So continued roaming between main house near A, via boathouse towards B looking down and got 2 more kills. Then a double kills the nuke.

Couldn't believe it, was so delighted to finally get it after trying for 2 weeks. Think the opposing team were decent enough but not great so think there was a bit of luck to it, getting the right map etc.

Do you get some kind of distinguishing emblem or anything to let everyone know how awesome you are?

By the way thanks for all the posters posting here and nuke tips thread, ideas really helped
