AFAIK, midnight and until Sunday (including Sunday) with the double XP. Would have been nice if they brought the maps out a week earlier and continued the double XP till the Bank Holiday

MAP Pack is out today it seems.

Just logged onto PS3 and the game has a software upgrade that will tell you the pack is out.

Looking at a few other blogs it looks like it is going online at 1Pm Eastern US time which is around about now.

I downloaded the new maps today at lunchtime - 12:30ish.

Cost €9.99. It's 358mb. There was a small PS3 update also.

However, I can't seem to get them working. They fully downloaded, then when i tried to select the Game, the icon was replaced with an icon for the new maps. Which I selected and installed. However nothing in-game has changed.

Maybe it's installed and not activated until tomorrow. It's the first time I downloaded anything like this.

MW2 maps will be 15 quid at least and aren't available until May 5th in Europe.

I shouldnt laugh but...fail.

I downloaded the Uncharted 2 maps ages back but even though i was on the EU PSN store they dont work with the euro copy of the game, its stupid having them there when you cant use them, I bought it way after it came out so didnt realise they hadnt been released outside the US

Yup that's a fail alright.

As silly as I was, what's the sense in putting messages on the game menu saying new maps are available for download.

whats stopping you from using overplay.net or another ip tunnel type program to make it appear your laptop/computer is in the states, then connect the ps3 thru wifi to your laptop.

Would that get you the maps today? Its just an idea....

Afraid not you have to have a seperate account with America as your address and postcode the you will get the Us Playstation store but some Irish credit cards wont work with the Us store my MasterCard wont anyway piece of junk

Even if you managed to buy them they wouldnt work unless you have a US copy of the game
