    Alright lads, a quick question.

This might sound really stupid but If i give "I intend to use it for clay pigeon shooting events" as a reason for why i require 1 of my shotguns do i need to show memebership of a shooting club or anything else to keep the super on side.

I don't want to put down vermin control for both guns.

You put down the primary use of the firearm, which does not mean the sole use. If it is mostly/totally for clays then put that down, but yes, you would need to be a member of a range/club.

Shooting in a bog/field/private property would not constitute an authorised range/club and if it is sought as a sporting gun then you would need to show the club you do your shooting at.

I could be wrong here, but its very similar to seeking a rifle license for target shooting and not being a member of an authorised range.

Thats what i was thinking. The main use will be shooting the crows r pigeons around the farm or crops. Occasioally we might take the traps out to the middle of nowhere & shoot a few clays.

The thing is my dad doesn't shoot anymore & asked me if i'd take his old s/s. She might be an auld blunderbuss but she's still a cracker & i learned to shoot with her so i guess you could call it sentimental.

What i'm fearful of is mr. super saying "what do you want 2 vermin guns for?" & i don't think sentiment will cut it.
