punishment for rape should be execution
killing someone who is trying to rape you is justifiable self defence in my opinion
if someome tried to rape me they'd be pretty dead, i can't see why i should be in trouble for that

If I was being raped, I'd sure as hell try kill the person, or at very least cause some serious damage to them.

Good god to all of that ^^^

All of that^^^ is what the problem is, intently killing someone for attempted rape or rape, not death which results from self defence, that's self defence in the eyes of the law mind.

rape is a pretty hard hit
they started it so how is itmy fault if i finish them

Rape is, like, really bad. I think it should be illegal.

Yes, I'm saying that if I were in that situation, I would want to kill them. Firstly because, well, they are raping me, secondly, because no matter what the situation was, I would feel my life is potentially in danger (yes, even if it's me saying 'no' to a boyfriend- people who rape arent to be trusted with my life!).
That is how I would feel in that moment.
However, looking at it with full reasoning, sure, they don't deserve to be killed, but if I were to kill them in trying to get them off me, then that's their fault. ( I did also say something like this in my post earlier)

Gender advocates say that the 2006 rape trial of prominent politician Jacob Zuma was incredibly damaging to their cause. Zuma, who was elected President this year, was tried and acquitted of raping an HIV-positive family friend. He told the court that the woman had dressed provocatively, in a traditional wrap-around kanga, and that it was against Zulu culture for a man to leave a sexually aroused woman unsatisfied.
 I'm absolutely horrified by this... Not just the rape accusation, but what he said to the court

    Read my posts fully, thanks.

I did read your post fully.
Secondly, even if you said: "Of course they are in fear of their lives.."

That would imply that you are talking about strangers who rape their victims.

How does the fact that they are afraid for their lives imply that they are talking about strangers.?
Did you know that 98% of rape victims actually know the rapist?

So, how many victims are afraid that their husbands or their boyfriends or even one of their close friends are going to kill them?

That logic only applies if you are trying to say that 98% of husbands/boyfriends will rape a woman. If a woman is being raped by their partner then you can be fairly sure they aren't exactly in a happy loving caring relationship and if my boyfriend raped me I would be afraid for my life.
    I wouldn't say too many.

Of course not. Not many men will rape their partner. However if they did then yes that woman would be afraid for her life.
So, to say or imply that ALL rape victims are in fear of there lives is rubbish. The vast majority know they are being raped and that is all.

How on earth do they know that. You are saying that they know the victim is their partner and is therefore not going to kill them. I would say if they knew their boyfriend would rape them in the first place they probably wouldn't be with them.
