Which sex is better at multitasking?

Just reading an article there in Cosmopolitan (what of it?) that debates which sex is better at multitasking.

I myself believe wimminz be useless at such things and it's time this myth was once and for all put to bed.

Women are useless at multitasking as far as I'm concerned.

The confuse 'trying' to do lots of thing at once, with doing lots of things of things at once 'well'.

Try to talk to a women when she's cooking a meal and she'll bite your head off, they even turn the radio off when trying to park.

The offside rule is a prime example, too many people moving to fast confuse the ladies and their brains cease to function, bless ;)

I feel men be better at multitasking, what says you?

I envision this thread as a few digs at women driving or running a company or causing accidents.
Two bans for misogyny and lock before 100 posts.
    We'll see.

Btw, there is no offside rule in real sports.

Yes giving much thought to one task at a time and doing it well to a satisfactory finish, rather than trying to to 5 things at once ' very badly ' ...except filthy sex of course :pac:

Ah, but your just one woman :)

I have meant quite a few who can too.

Overall though, men are natural multitaskers.

The myth that women are better at multitasking needs to end ..

Anyway, who on earth turns off their radio to park? I don't believe that for a second!!!

And the offside rule, sure that's easy
Attacking player must be behind a defending player when a pass is made
new rule: only applies if the attacking player is interfering with play.

    So there. :P

Why must there be any "digs" at women?

Women are free to post and their views as well as men.

Chances are they'll prove me wrong, no problem with that.

It's a lighthearted thread about Multitasking, no reason it shouldn't stay so.

Close but not quite correct. The Attacking player must be behind either 2 defenders or the ball

Actually, this is the way wikipedia explain it. Which would go alot towards explaining why it would confuzzle the cleverest of heads!
A player is in an offside position if he is in his opponents' half of the field and is nearer to his opponents' goal line than both the ball and the next to last opponent.

The 2005 edition of the Laws of the Game included a new International Football Association Board decision that stated being "nearer to an opponent's goal line" meant that "any part of his head, body or feet is nearer to his opponents' goal line than both the ball and the second-last opponent. The arms are not included in this definition."[1] This is taken to mean that any part of the attacking player named in this decision has to be past the part of the second-last defender closest to his goal line (excluding the arms) and past the part of the ball closest to the defenders' goal line.

It is not necessary that the goalkeeper be one of the last two opponents. It should be noted that any attacker that is even with or behind the ball is not in an offside position and may never be sanctioned for an offside offense. Regardless of position, there is no offside offense if a player receives the ball directly from a goal kick, corner kick, or throw-in.

IFAB has clarified in the 2009-2010 Laws of the Game that a player temporarily off the field of play is considered to be ON the boundary line at the point that he crossed over the boundary line.[2]

    Women probably..

They must have evolved that way by now.

All that washing, cleaning, ironing, hoovering, cooking etc.., (that they as a gender are expected to do for the obviously superior men in their life's) must really take up the day.
With all that, and the whole having to make themselves physically desirable and willing to submit at a moments notice to any sexual request made by the man in the relationship...

Multitasking is almost a necessity really.

If women couldn't do it, they would have virtually no time at all to look after the kids or admire the lovely polished underside of the workforce glass ceiling that we gave them.

Actually, this is the way wikipedia explain it. Which would go alot towards explaining why it would confuzzle the cleverest of heads!

Simpler explanation - 4 ,5 guys (defenders ) simultaneously run out of box at sign of approaching opposition (foreward) who haz his eye on the incoming ball and needs to either slightly be behind , or in line with the defenders while obtaining said ball to proceed to stick ball into net :pac:

I watch and love womens football

My boyfriend's awful at multitaking but won't admit it. He just can't cope if more than one source of information is directed at him. So, I play games with this to amuse myself :)

Last week he was reading a text and I began to weave a yarn about teeny little pixies dancing on the tip of his nose. He put his phone away, asked "so what we were talking about?" and when i mentioned pixies, he assumed I meant the band.

Bless his little cotton socks :)

I dunno. I think it entirely depends on what the tasks involved are, and the type of person they are - organised / disorganised.

My mom is a legend around the kitchen, she'd be cooking dinner and putting on washes etc all at the same time - all while we were running around her feet. I, on the other hand would burn the clothes and wash the dinner ;)

But once you can multi-task in the sack, the rest will fall into place :pac:
