Great video lads and an even better shot, really liked the way you could see the trail of the round as it whizzed through the air in the slow-mo part of the video.

    Nice shooting, poulo6.5!

Last of the Mohicans - eh? Just you, the bunnies, and a clifftop pathway to fight your way through to the damsel!:)

But seriously d'ough, great shot - Cameraman's getting better too:D
Loved the way you can see the bullet tracking through the air / mirage (OR did you CGI that in later - VERY CSI indeed!:D)

    Thanks for the vid.

baby steps for me, i'm only just learning how to shoot long range.
i'll have to upgrade the optics first.

the bullet cutting threw the air was a pleasant surprise, we didnt expect it at all. a nice bonus :D

Excellent video there Poulo. I often heard the boys on the range talking of the "bullet wash" that can be seen with a good quality spotting scope. The camera picked it up even better.

Great stuff and hope to see more.

    Good shooting and video work.

What video camera are you using as I am on the lookout for something to capture the hunting outings.

I was looking at the Panasonic S26 with x70 zoom and it captures to an SD card so no moving parts.

307 yards on a bunny is nice shooting. Have to stretch it out further now! Need to get a 600+ yard bunny now. ;)

350 metres 382 yards is my record to date.
I need a shooting buddy to do spotter so I can push for further. Lots of long range bunnies near me.

I also need that camera man.
I'd love to record some of my better shots, Although not any misses :D

Well done on the follow up shot as it was the harder one!

Very nice shooting Poulo by yourself and your brother, and not afraid to let in the miss, it's reality, looking forward to more. How about a thread "Videos of Your Shooting", it seems there are a few lads who might add to it, I got one but don't want to hijack your thread :)

just looked at yours there now . i must get my 2 springers trained up on the bunny's

i had to let it play as it was, its real shooting no tricks. anyway i think getting it on a rushed follow up shot without thinking is what its all about.

pm me if you want to get together and video some more ;)

    cheers

Nice shooting and great video! Question for you though - is using your vehicle as a rest not dodgy in the eyes of Mr Policeman? Back home even leaning a loaded rifle/shotgun against your truck is an offense and can get all your gear confiscated on the spot plus a hefty fine.

I got my Karsten cheek-piece fitted this evening to my remmy by the Talented Mr White. http://www.irelandcustomrifle.com/

I'm going to recrown the rifle with him to, Fergal reckons I can get a little bit more accuracy with a few degrees honed on my current crown.

The Karsten cheek piece is a deffo Must for any varminter using a remmy 700!:D
