I went to Funderland at Christmas, loads of fun, a bit sicky after it, but no harm!
You could go bowling too! Or you could do a "Come Dine With Me" wknd with some mates.

+1 on the Zoo. I went the other week and it went down really well.

Also, the wax museum should be good fun.

Comedy club. There's a club between georges st and grafton st, down beside brown thomas in Dublin, a bit grotty but there are unknown comedians playing and maybe a few faces you'd recognise. They have shows during the day too sometimes. Only costs about a fiver too. You could get someone crap but you'll probably have more fun laughing at them in that case.

Dublin vs Galway in the football league on Saturday night in Parnell Park. Only 5 euro in aswell if you happen to be a student. Only condition is you have to support Galway as I told you about it.

I will second the racing suggestion also.

Yeah good one, Grandad. Translation, "we all went to an 80s night and the journey there tired us out so we went home for a nice cuppa and to get the curtains drawn."

Wax Museum is sh*t. Was there a couple of months ago,no!!
The science part upstairs is ok, but it has nothing to do with wax works. That should be in the national history museum. Collins Barracks is kind of cool, as is IMMA for a wander on a sunny weekend day

Actually planning on going to the Guinness Storehouse next week with the gf. See what all the fuss is about.

We did this last summer. It was rubbish. Nice view from the bar up top tho. And the waterfall is pretty cool. But thats it.

Hi, If your tired of the pub scene perhaps you and your girlfriend
could go to a spa together or take up a hobby, hiking, cycling, bowling etc
There are some good suggestions here.

Go on Road trip, go to places you havent been since you went on school tours (really enjoyable), places like Bunratty Castle/Glendalough/ Cratloe Woods/ Curraghchase. Dingle (Kerry) and visit the aquarium - its cool!

Drive Slea head, the scenery is outstanding. Visit cliffs of moher - the same!

You just need to be creative. There is a place in Limerick called UniGolf - a bit crazy putt-ish, seems good fun from a lot of mates of mine that have gone with their OH's

The word "sheeps" is not an adjective and reveals nothing about me as a person, hope this helps.

International comedy club - about 10e for a ticket and makes for a great date. Little drink beforehand then enjoy the comedy!

Depends on what type of person you are.

National Gallery is worth a look so is the Museum of Natural History (is it still closed for refurb).

I really enjoy the cinema though so I will always go for a flick.

Bowling and pool is always good craic too.

I find thats one problem with Ireland is that there is not a huge amount to do sometimes.

    http://www.dublinsightseeing.ie/ghostbus.aspx

It's good craic. There's no audience participation (apart from having to walk around a little bit) and if your girlfriend is into spooky stuff as many women are, she'll love it.

You'll find out lots of stuff about Dublin that you never knew and unless you live in the inner city and walk everywhere, you've probably never been in any of the places that the bus brings you.

It's one night (about 2 hours I think) and well worth it.

Skerries have a rather popular swingers club
Malahide Lawn Tennis Club is also know for couple swapping

On a more traditional note you could get a bus or train into town and do the Ghost Bus tour, visit a free museum, theatre, concert, comedy gig etc.

One sunday, got the Dart to Howth got a really nice farmers market.
Theres also a hiking trail alot of people do near the cliffs down there which is pretty scenice, recommend doing it on a dry day.

Also thinkin bout goin on the Dublin Ghost bus which goes around suposedly haunted sites in Dublin. It could be crap but at least its different. Anybody go on this!

Maybe try an pick up an easy going fun sport like Pitch and putt.

It also takes only 2hours to get to Galwey now and B&B's are getting cheaper. Could make for an interestin weekend.
