    How old are you?

There's shag all for people to do in the 30's socially anyway, I can tell ya.

Cinema is about the best of it.

    Places be full of kids.

Load of us went to an 80's night last week in Wax / Spy and we walked away without going in as everyone in the queue and smoking area outside wear eating Liga.

ps .. the 'Travel Anywhere' makes you look like swingers :p

Have a date night in. Candles, Barry White, order a Chinese take-away. Eat it on a fluffy rug. Then shag on it. The rug, not the Chinese.

I try to devote all my time to racism these days

Its practical, you're giving a little back to the community (or even taking away !) and there are lots of different groups and like minded people to help you get started

    Best thing is, it's everywhere

    Enjoy!

There's a roller-skate disco place in Ballycoolin industrial estate.
    Go to a theater?
Go for a walk somewhere nice finishing up with a meal in a restaurant?

Not necessarily in that order. But everything is better with Barry. Who doesn't lurve the sexy slither of a lady snake?

And tbh OP, it all depends on what you and your girlfriend are into. One of my ex-boyfriend's took me clay pidgeon shooting on a date and I LOVED it.

The Zoo is a good way to spend the afternoon too. It doesn't have to be warm either, just dry. Theater is a good idea, new Grand Canal Theatre just opened up so have a look at what they're showing and pick something, maybe go for a drink or some munch before/after. See a comedian at Vicar St? As I said, all depends on what you're into.

Theatre, gig, art exhibitions, wine tasting, roller skating......
If you actually put your mind to it, there are plenty of things to do in Dublin. Try living in rural ireland and look for something else to do. There sometimes isnt even the cinema option

    Horseracing
    The dogs
    Ice Skating

I'd pick Horseracing, and ive absoloutly no heed in gambling/horses but i was at the Navan Races recently and it was almightly craic and the Girlfriend loved it ;)

Hit Ryanair when they have their €1 seats and make the date memorable.

+1 on the Zoo. I went the other week and it went down really well.

Also, the wax museum should be good fun.

Comedy club. There's a club between georges st and grafton st, down beside brown thomas in Dublin, a bit grotty but there are unknown comedians playing and maybe a few faces you'd recognise. They have shows during the day too sometimes. Only costs about a fiver too. You could get someone crap but you'll probably have more fun laughing at them in that case.

Dublin vs Galway in the football league on Saturday night in Parnell Park. Only 5 euro in aswell if you happen to be a student. Only condition is you have to support Galway as I told you about it.

I will second the racing suggestion also.

Wax Museum is sh*t. Was there a couple of months ago,no!!
The science part upstairs is ok, but it has nothing to do with wax works. That should be in the national history museum. Collins Barracks is kind of cool, as is IMMA for a wander on a sunny weekend day

Hi, If your tired of the pub scene perhaps you and your girlfriend
could go to a spa together or take up a hobby, hiking, cycling, bowling etc
There are some good suggestions here.

Go on Road trip, go to places you havent been since you went on school tours (really enjoyable), places like Bunratty Castle/Glendalough/ Cratloe Woods/ Curraghchase. Dingle (Kerry) and visit the aquarium - its cool!

Drive Slea head, the scenery is outstanding. Visit cliffs of moher - the same!

You just need to be creative. There is a place in Limerick called UniGolf - a bit crazy putt-ish, seems good fun from a lot of mates of mine that have gone with their OH's
