Sean in Stakelums, Thurles, would be a good bet to talk to.

Correct Foxshooter. Millards are the main importers, but i've heard from two or three different dealers that there is a slight delay on new imports coming in. Was asking about the FTR and Palma for a few interested persons and was told it'll be May or so before you see more coming in.

Don't know how true this is or if Millards have gotten the finger out and ordered some, ASAP, but start ringing around dealers and see what they have in stock.

I bought me f/tr at the end of 2009 , waited about 2 months at that time, and what they had coming were all spoke for cept two-worth the wait though:D

    Absolutely worth the wait.

I know Sean in Stakelums has one sitting on the rack looking for a good home so as IWM suggested its a good starting place if thats the model he is after.

By the by, was in Jim Griffin's in Rahan, and he has a lovely model 10 in .308 calibre. First time to hold one. Sweet as a nut and i thought the FTR was good value for money. It has a composite stock and heavy barrel but its overall weight is not bad, (nowhere near the FTR) excellent feeling stock, and if its action is based on the FTR .308 then it'll be a tack driver.

Worth a look if its a hunter you're after.

had a model 10 in .308 and traded it into jim not so long ago so if its second hand there is a good chance this was my rifle and it was an absolute brillant rifle but just didnt suite me.....

Afraid not. This was brand new. Still had the factiory label on it. You are right though, sweet, sweet gun.
