Question about prestige

I gotta agree with the facts, I'm on my third Prestige now and in no way is it possible to reach level 30 in 4-6 hours. I'm not terrible at the game, my K/D is 1.19, and I mostly play FFA, TDM and HCTDM. Dublindude clearly just wants to make himself seem like an amazing player, whereas if he actually did reach level 30 in 4-6 hours, he'd have no problem posting his gamertag.

To the OP, how are you finding Prestige mode by now? I was skeptical about doing it at first, then I hated it, and stayed at level 70 first Prestige for quite some time, but now I reckon I'll hit Prestige mode ASAP unless I have some perk challenges to finish for the emblems.

what dublindude is saying isn't actually impossible. in one of wingsofredemptions videos on youtube he said he had prestige down to around 19 hours. he used emergency airdrops and let his team mates take them which gives loads of xp.

I done my second prestiege last night. And what I never knew was that your prestiege challanges carry-over.

So what you could do is set it up so that you'll get an easy 10,000 (or more) XP at the start of your next prestiege. If coming near the end of your current pretiege stop short of getting the prestiege challange for a gun that you'll start your next prestiege with.

ie: If you're level 70 (having already prestieged at least once) and have 999 kills with the Intervention, now prestiege. Get one kill with the Intervention and you'll get 10k XP.

Now I haven't tried this so I can't say this works for certain but I see no reason why it wouldn't. A couple of points though:
1. Maybe this won't prior to unlocking challanges (Level 4 or 6 I think)
2. You'd have to keep an eye on this from maybe level 65 prior to prestieging. (The other thing of course is that 10k at this point is probably more valuable to you than at level 1 next time round).
3. You'd have to have already prestieged at least once.

Maybe someone in the know could offer some insight?

Next time I prestige I'm gonna time how long it takes me to hit say level 30 , just out of interest. I prestiged thursday night and am at level 20 or so now already, played about 6-8 hours or so, not really putting that much effort in. I know the time I hit 3rd prestige I went up 3 levels on my first game, its simple to hit lvl 5 or so you should do it in 3 games max

hey guys im 10th prestige legit and i can so its so much better pretigeing you feel glad in yourself and also the extra classes come in very handy also if you dont prestige and stay level 70 all the xp you get is wasted so i think people should prestige and have a great time leveling up again

I prestiged once because I knew I wanted the prestige challenges and weapon titles/emblems.

I prestiged a second time maybe two weeks ago, thinking that an extra class slot again might come in handy (it's 1st and 3rd etc.. not 1st, 2nd, 3rd as I wrongly thought).

I love using a new gun and thinking WOW how come I didn't use this before?
I barely used the Scar since like level 40 first prestige and for the level required it's such a beast gun.

Also it's fun to be level 4/5/6 and end up being MVP in a match with people with AK's and ACR's etc.

just finished 7th level and am not prestiging again for five reasons..

1) I have all the classes I need
2) I want to complete all the challenges
3) The 8th level emblem looks pants!
4) I want to see if the AK47 is as good as ppl say
5) I'd miss my RPG too much.. love clearing out campers from their little lovenests with it

I wasn't gonna prestige again but I noticed in the challenges section i'm almost at 500 kills for the intervention veteran challenge which means 10,000 xp.


Then I got an idea. I'm gonna work up to 490 kills on a couple of guns and then prestige and complete each challenge by getting the remaining 10 kills and racking up 10k xp each time.

Should fly up the levels

Good idea, but remember that most guns aren't unlocked immediately. So yea get 10 kills with the intervention on the default class. Maybe for the Famas, Spas, m4a1 etc. don't go getting 499 kills with the AK though :pac:

12 and then some for 50k exp. Not bad to get in 1 match if you switch between the 5 guns you said there and get a kill with each gun.

One really good thing about jumping up 11 levels like that, is you immediately unlock killstreaks (level 10), a killstreak unlock (level 10 also) and custom classes. Nice.

He was recording that as 19 hours actual "in game" time which translates as much more in reality.
