If I put down the name of two farms where I have permission to shoot on my gun licence application, do you think there may be some situation in the future where I could be restricted to shooting in those areas only.

not if you you apply quitely and if asked say you are actively searching for other shoots

No.

You need to nominate 2 land owners to show you have permission to shoot on lands (if not a range/club member) and that you will not get the firearm and shoot on any random lands, permission or not.

This does not mean you are limited to these lands only. On your renewal in 3 years you can nominate the same lands or 2 different ones.
