no, my life is a disaster with plans at the moment!

I've a race night for the Irish Cancer society on the 26th. Away easter. Hen night 10th April. Wedding Party 16th and a festivally thing in terenure college on the 17th. The following weekend I would have to get a sitter. I'm soooo looking forward to doing absolutely nothing between now and my next payday

(sorry, I know my social life is slightly off topic )

I've had no laptop for the last while (:() so was unable to reply to the other thread before it was locked. I just wanted to say, again, that I wasn't having a go. Also I know maple said that there was nothing stopping anyone starting another thread, and good on ya princess-lala for doing this one, the issue I had was that we had proposed a girls night, then the mod starts a thread saying "cinema, date, time." and its stickied so it looks pretty official, ya know I merely questioned why nobody had a say in it. Anyway, no desire to go over old ground, just wanted to reply to the responses in the other thread.

Dinner, drinks and dancing sounds like great fun. April would be a good month. Plenty of notice and might be easier for those outside of Dublin to get up for it.

Any ideas where? I'm more of a pub person myself so wouldn't have a clue about dancing spots

"the mod" has a name and it was started as a suggestion! As some of the regular contributors to the forum had suggested something mid week and sans alcohol, but ya know.. can't keep everyone happy!

I said "the mod" to highlight how it could come across as an official forum thing when "the mod" says "Cinema, this date, this time, this film" and then stickies it. I did not say "the mod" as an attempt to make a dig.

Same here, I tend to stick to the same pubs and I don't think many of them would be suitable for tLL, there'd be a lot of old men needing medical attention I'd imagine :P I'm sure there are some ladies here who would know some decent places for a dance and a drink.

Have been in Howl at the Moon recently but I was very drunk at the time so don't remember too much about it.

Afair, the only people ever to object to going to Capitol were blokes... So that's my suggestion :P Plenty of room to dance if we want to! I actually can't think of anywhere that's free in that has a proper dancefloor anyway

Get someone's phone number in a PM so that you can text them and arrange to meet them beforehand, maybe? Makes things a little less daunting!
