Oh I remember when kids used to do that with Myspace parties.

    Them were the days.

I dont have much sympathy for anyone who advertises a party on facebook-even if it is a "private one"

Schoolgirl Rachel was so drunk she fell unconscious during the party and believes her drinks were spiked by one of gate-crashers.

Tried that one myself many a times with the parents-they never bought it(rightly so!)

If I was him I'd be tracking as many of them down through facebook as I could and I would trash them to an inch of their lives. Scum bag bastards even urintated on a childs bed.

Scratch that - I'd kill them.

50 people is a fairly tame party...I can't really understand how it happened, unless the girl was friend with 30 year old 'yobs'.

    Moron...

Facebook is the digital equivelant of streaking naked across the pitch in Croke Park on All-Ireland day.

    Everyone can see Everything.

Looks like clothes thrown around the place was the only damage, wouldn't believe the words to go along with an article in The Sun in fairness!

Has she uploaded the photos yet though?

They seem to have left a fat bloke in the kitchen as well.

From the picture there doesn't seem to be too much damage in the kitchen.
Clothes thrown on the floor. Clothes horses put on top of kitchen work tops. No sign of red paint. Didn't steal the very easily portable TV in the corner.

Could just be a load of bollocks.

I gathered that, also reported in the Mail and Telegraph. The cops by passed the place on the night but didnt take too much notice until the following morning when there was reports of a break in with damage caused inside.

Some better pictures in the Mail article, but still no evidence of any of the damage reported...You'd think that'd be the first thing they'd photograph.

The bloke doesn't seem to be in a hurry to tidy up.

Did he get paid for them photographs ,I wonder ?

I feel dirty after clicking a link to the sun.

What annoys me about these stories is parties go wrong all the time but now since facebook is so omnipresent and there is bound to be some amount of chat on it about most parties, when one goes wrong it must be facebook's fault.

thats what you get when your dad collects antique weapons.

Have to agree with previous posters about the damage this is being blown all out of proportion, it just looks like clothes being thrown about and general mess why didnt the show the damage of the sword or the tv

Must be a real slow news day

    Merseyside... yeah, sounds about right.

My mate did this a few months ago, but emailed people on facebook instead of posting it, went well. His mom and dad went fcukin mental, but the house wasn't touched.

You put it on Facebook, you're asking for trouble tbh

If you study the Sun photo, you can see that he was also spiked, just before two yobs wedged him into the washing-machine drum.

And the Samurai Sward, no photos of that either, you would have expected to see some of the 2 year old child's teddy bears decapitated.

Tha house isn't 'trashed'. Look at the picture!!!

Somebody just dumped the contents on the laundry basket on the floor and if it was looted properly by 50 people, I wouldn't be able to see a portable TV in the background

I hope not. That would be unhygenic

Comments of the Daily Mail site are fairly funny.
My husband and I are in our early 30's, from opposite ends of the country and different social backgrounds and we were both unfortunate enough to have attended parties like this in our teens.

Seriously?? What teenagers haven't attended a party where the parents were gone and it got a little out of hand?

The mess really doesn't look too bad either. I wouldn't be surprised if she's just using the facebook excuse to get out of trouble, it's much easier to say "I only invited a few friends and loads of strangers from facebook turned up, sob" than "I invited 30 people to my party, a few brought friends, I probably shouldn't have invited so many"

"We were out at a wedding and she was supposed to be staying with a friend and her mum and dad, but unknown to us she'd organised a party on Facebook and sneaked back

    Slight reading comprehension fail?

I like how the first thing he thought of was to call the sun over for an interview, rather than start cleaning up the place

I call bull**** on the accuracy of that story. If all this damage was done then why wasn't it photographed? It is another step towards the build up of public outrage towards social networking sites.
