Yes it's old and drab, but it's got a brandnew NCT, is half your budget, practical, will take a few more dings gracefully and you can throw it away after two years ...might be worth looking at

If you have a Scale; Entertaining - Moderatly Enteraining - Horridly boring the Yellow Ibiza would be somewhere the far leftr and the Astra the far, far right. Good car, loads of space, more than likely reliable but my god what a horrible boring looking car!

You could always paint it yellow :D

You can actually pick the 00 1.4 Ibiza up for 500-700 with an almost expired NCT on it, 900-1300 will get you one with 2yrs NCT on it & tax.

Plus I still think it looks like half a pound of butter on wheels :D tho I call every hatch back in yellow that

I don't actually want a yellow car, I'm not bothered what colour it is. :D

Peasants big ole' Astra is probably more "me" :D, but too big and too old.

I also want to move out of the 90's dammiit.

wouldn't give a sh1t about the colour (well i would if it was pink)

    but i wouldn't spend €1800 on a 10 yr seat with 100k on the clock > €1200 max

    Edit: Arghh. UK reg.

  • Registered Users Posts: 2,558 ✭✭✭Blue850

its on northern ireland plates, it'll need to be VRT'd ie cost more money, to get an Irish reg. 2 litre road tax every year is about €600.

    edit: noticed your edit lol

Actually no one mentioned the Fiesta until now! 1.25 Zetec in a Ghia Model or the likes and you really can't go wrong!
