In all fairness it's really really good at mid and long range, you can basically snipe with it. You must be weird to not be good with it, oh wait... :pac:

I don't get either man. It's amazing from distance I know yeah, but I just don't feel comfortable with it. I'm fairly decent with RDS(which most people hate on it) but using with the silencer I'm very average(which everyone uses with it). When I say that, I mean like I struggle to build any decent killstreaks.

I'm nowhere near as bad as I'am with the MP5k. Cheers for ruining the MP5 IW you 'tards.

I can snipe with the Uzi and Vector anyway, so **** all of you's :pac:

Just to add I really need to stick with a gun for a long time, I chop and change a hell of a lot(mainly for a challenge). Probably half the reason why I never found any consistency with the UMP.

I'm appalling bad at aiming with a non silenced UMP, the silencer is essential for me on it.

nah im right up there with you brother cant get the hang of it . beast with the p90 but other than that not an smg man .

No I have to agree, I find the UMP really difficult to use. It's very inaccurate. Granted I've not used the silencer, does that help at all?

In terms of odd weapons, I do like the FAL, a brilliant sniper rifle. The RPD can be lots of fun and the Vector and P90 (especially akimbo) are brilliant in smaller maps.

yes, its a completely different gun, cuts out the majority of the recoil and for some strange reason seems to make it more powerful, thats probably not the case but it just seems that way, definitely more accurate though.

I find that the silencer reduces the kick of the ump, making it alot easier over longer range if a target is moving. Not really an odd weapon, but I love love an M21 EBR silenced on my ghost class (Scavenger Pro, Cold Blooded Pro, Ninja Pro). Sure it takes two shots, but with a fast trigger finger I kill people just as fast as normal sniper rifles. If anyone hasn't tried it, I recommend they should if even just for a game.

What in the ****?!
Playing bailout, stuck a guy with a semtex, it flashed up as stuck. We didn't get a kill when it exploded? not even a hitmarker.

How did this happen? I haven't been lagging all day, 4 bars, host most games.

The player sent me a message "fail semtex" even though I had stuck him? Is this a glitch or hack or something?

Had an absolute corker of a night, went 33/ 4 /4 on mtdm estate, nearly every game I managed a chopper gunner out of my kills 5 / 7/ 11. Great games like that all night, I've honestly never played as good I think..... till a game on fuel, was just thrown in half way though on the loosing side, some idiot (monty46) camper extrordinare , literally would plant a claymore on the steps on the north side... the sit with an aa12 crouched in the corner at the top of the catwalk... that or he would sit in the gap btween the wall and the girders on the ground floor in the shadows... that or in the opposite corner in the machinery.

lol he was a 10th level prestige and managed 7 kills the whole match long... he got one kill on me for all his "effort" (if you can call shaking in the corner cowering effort) . Xbox off after that.... just reminded me of the childish people that play this game and had enough.

Sneaky fcuking boosters on Karachi earlier, werent using their killstreaks just using a silenced UMP to boost to a nuke, I got em eventually but twas too late, enemy nuke incoming, bah...

I love when I'm on a roll, but I've stopped playing the game now because of all the **** who play it. I'm constantly against people who dropshot or jump while shooting at me or jump then go prone or have the FAL and a ****ing turbo controller.

Atleast I've played well and never resorted to being cheap by camping, jumping, dropshotting, using a turbo controller, boosting.

I remember a while ago I was playing on Bailout and there was 2 boosters in the car park, I saw a red dot on my map and was wondering why someone was way in the back corner there because it's pretty far off the map, checked it out and saw a green and red tac insert, so I killed him. He continued to boost, and I got him 3 times, and then multiple times as he was running back to the corner. Got 3 harrier strikes in the match lol.

dropshotting is actually a skill, and not something that is frowned upon...jumpshots are hated, but I would put them in the same category as dropshotting..it's smart to do it. The only reason people complain about them is because they are embarassed by being killed by them so much :cool:

I would hardly call it a skill, there is just something cheap about it. CS had its bunny hoppers and you can class it the same as that... and bunny hoppers are hated in CS. Drop shotters always use the excuse of "oh its an in game mechanic".... so does that mean camping is acceptable too?

Easy way to deal with 'em though... ump45, I always aim low with it anyways cause the recoil is so severe and the muzzle jump will cause it to pull up anyways so I aim at knee hight and the spread moves the path of rounds up... slightly longer kills on regular players but much greater chance of kills, of coarse when you come across the drop shotter they actually end up moving themselves INTO the path of bullets rather than ducking under them.....:D


And stay on the floor with ya! ..... nap time for dropper shotter.

I just played 5 games with the same lobby, with possibly the worst team I've been on, MTMD on Storm , I went 36-12, not a magnificent score but a pretty decent round, got pred/harrier/pavelow twice in the same match and another pred before the end. Wanna know what the next highest scoring player on my team was? 9 kills. 9. 9! this was a full lenght game with the same team, i go 36, he goes 9, next highest were tied at 7, and 4 after him, all of them camping or sniping, ffs. Talk about carrying a team. Mr 9 kills had a 10th prestige symbol (of course) I kept passing the same guy with a heartbeat sensor on his gun, stuck in a bush up the top of the map, you may as well not even be playing if thats all you're going to contribute.

Drop-shots are tedious when done excessively. There is decent amount of try hards who stick on the ol UMP w/ silencer and attempt to go all MLG Pro constantly despite it not being needed in the slightest.

Dropshotters are more frequent than jumpshotters(making up words here). I presume you meant those who bunny hop around the place like idiots and not those(like me ) that say are behind an object and jump to shoot the enemy usually with a sniper?

Agree with hightowers comment re: CS. Bloody annoying is an understatement concerning those crappy bunny hoppers.

Yeah Krud, I've played an obscene amount on Vacant today.. not that I'm complaining. Carnival and Rundown have featured heavily as well. Haven't played Fuel once today which I'm not complaining about though.

Was playing TDM on Crash there with ithmospas and tallon, was up at the A spawn wheres usually a sniper, had a skulk around, nobody there, was standing at the balcony, hopped off the car underneath so as not to hurt myself, car explodes, kills me. sigh...
