    Fixed your post.

Also yes they are a great band, there should be a soc setup for their appreciation. Great idea!

Here, here! And I bet this new n.e.r.d. soc won't steal money for a piss up abroad either ;)

Just got an e-mail from them. Now the content of the email I couldn't care less about. But surely they shouldn't still be allowed keep our emails/a DCU address after being struck off?

If the E&S was disbanded - so to should have been the ability of it's commitee members to send group emails to their list.

I'd imagine that somebody forgot to take away their mailing abilities.

    Opps a daizy doo.

If they've kept a record of the list it's kinda hard for anyone to prevent that. They could have saved the details somewhere.

Have they actually done that though? Or is it just a case of no one having bothered to delete the society from the system? I know societies were normally dead for several years before we got around to deleting them in my day.

At least F.T.U.B. Soc's acroynm means something.

Is "n.e.r.d" a clever recursive acronym like PHP or GNU? If so, what does it stand for? Why does no fullstop follow the "d"? What is the significance of eschewing conformist linguistic standards such as capitalisation? Are you trying to make a statement against post-modern pop-culture? milkwine, I need to know! :(
