I'm not a frigid but i have only met one person. It was the same in my primary school as yours m&s* many people looked at being a frigid as bad but i still was one going into second year. I was asked to a couple of times before i did but i didn.t want to meet someone just for the sake of it.

Much better off not being pressured into it!
I remember my first time :( It was horrible we were in 4th class? (I think)
Me and a few of my friends were sitting on a cirb and loads of boys were playing soccer in the grass next to us. One of them came over and was saying how much one of them liked me . . . I was completly mortified and just said no I don't want to, all my friends were then saying come on Mary just do it you'll be so mean if you don't and anyways I did, went home straight after feeling sick! It was just horrible!

Little bit of an over exaggeration there but it really wasn't nice although I was kinda glad it was done with and I wouldn't be bothered by anyone about it again.
Until school when everyone would come up to me saying did you meet him blah blah blah!! :(

I actually haven't "met" anyone yet: tbh, I couldn't be bothered. I don't really see the point of "meeting" a total stranger and I don't like parties etc. . . .

I don't think I'm "frigid" though, I just would prefer to "meet" someone I actually know/like as opposed to a random stranger.

Just because I haven't met someone yet doesn't mean I don't know someone I would like to "meet". ;)

Meeting strangers is stupid to me! Going out for a night just to meet loads of people is not what I'd find fun!
Having said that, I'd much prefer to just have the one person then a whole load of people to meet.

    Exactly.

The most immature forum on boards tends to be the adult discussion one, ah. Teenage ones are way ahead.

    I like your thinking Jack!

I find the immature people I know, like people in my school would probably be bored after a minute on boards, not enough shiny things I guess!

This thread is barely staying open, I dont think this is the appropriate forum for it, but it'd be trolled too much in C&H, and the C&Hers wont come here because they know I'll ban them* >_>

I'm surprised I didnt lock it after a certain user's contribution tbh, that was just out of order.

*ie they're far too lazy, that's just what I tell myself sometimes......

    Basically guys, tread carefully.

    Alright Fad, duly noted. :)

    Where would this be appropriate?
I know it hasn't much to do with the JC and all that but I don't see where you could pop it in, it'll disappear eventually.
I feel more comfortable posting with people who are my age here and makes it easier than if it was somewhere else!

It is kind of one of those threads which doesn't really fit anywhere. Usually they would shipped off to AH but I don't think that would be right for this thread.

I also feel more comfortable talking with you guys because there aren't many of us so we know each other fairly well.

Completly agree with ya there WanderingSoul!

I honestly have no idea why people 'meet' each other. Isn't it kind of pointless?

And before anyone says it, I'm not complaining because girls don't want to meet me (I've been asked a few times and the girls were pretty decent).

Raging hormones and all that? :D

That was my earlier point, bevan619.

My school is big enough that it's easy enough for stay away from those sort of people and I tend to be very private (in real life not online) about this sort of stuff. About 60% of my friends are of the opposite sex so a lot of people just presume (incorrectly!). And thank-you.

Jeez, that sounds so . . . just wow, getting friends to ask.

*Not meant to be offensive by the way.

I don't like the whole friends thing really
Any guy who can come up to you and ask (nicely)
Wins in my books, when they are wrote that is!

    Haha. :p

It's not really a requirement at a disco, a friend will ask her to meet you and then you let your tongue do the talkin' lol.

Wait, so do you even want to meet her?

None taken, that's what happens though! It's very rare for someone to ask for themselves.

    Noel2k9: And why not?! :D

DKZ: I know but I think it is so ridiculous! It's not that hard to talk to girls/guys (whatever's applicable!).

Yeah, I'll ask my friend to ask her.. as pathetic as that sounds lol

I'm way too socially awkward. I don't like discos anyways.

My friends wouldn't go either. My best friend doesn't like dance music either, one friend is gay, the other barely talks about girls or music or stuff hat isn't comedy or video games.

Well yeah, & if you reject them they walk away and accept it!

@WanderingSoul Because then if s/he says no, it'll save you the bother of rejection. :P
Anyway, first post in this forum. Hi my name's noel and I'm an internet-a-holic. :pac:
