Personnally I would opt for a 20moa one piece picatinny rail...

Have you tried dialing the scope right down prior to zeroing and then "re-zeroing ..?

If you set the scope at "mid" dia in the same fashion as you would set the windage at centre dial prior to actual zeroing you will soon run out of elevation for long range shooting.
My advice would be to set the elevation about 25% from bottom at bore sighting stage.
It won't give you the same elevation as say a 20* onepiece mount but it will help
    ( am I making sence ? )

........ scoope is nxs 42x56 run out of elev at 600 silght hold over required to reach it ......

Very surprised at that. Have used a 12-42x56 NXS on both .308 and 6.5x55 and had more than enough MOA to reach 600 with 9-12 moa spare. Possibly good enough for 800yd.

What rifle are you using and what ammo are you running through it?

    Would consider what BELOWaverageIQ said..........

.....may be a good option. The scope has 45 MOA so even with a 100yd/20moa zero and taking into account you should need no more than 15 moa (35 moa total) to reach 600yds you should at least be able to reach 600yds if not have more MOA to spare.

    ThirdeyeTactical.com

The key to accuracy in manufacture is to minimise the number of operations required to complete the machining process. By investing in new Technology, we have been able to cut the number of operations required from eight to two. By doing this, there is no accuracy loss due to re setting for different operations.

A video showing the Machining of a Thirdeye 30mm scope ring.
The Machine used is a 2009 Mazak Integrex 100 5 axis Machining centre
Material is Aluminium 7075 grade. Tooling by WNT and ITC........Enjoy
