Maybe a group from Flickr. I know at Christmas the Dublin Flickr group take Christamssy objects and photograph them around city for fun.

Ha ha that's just mad, what an unusual photo to like, I'm happy and confused all at the same time. Well go on off with ya to your local Spar. They've had this offer a while and I've only posted it now. :o

Yep a Prime Nikon ED AF 300mm F2.8 - the very first 2.8 Nikon 300 AF.

I bought it last year 2nd hand on Ebay(it's about 16 yrs old) and am delighted with the results.

This was Iso 640 /1/1000th sec at F3.2 manual exposure (but auto focus). monopod needed.

The AF is a bit slow -and this particular lens made a lot of Sports Pros head straight for Canon equipment- but for me it's fine!

I had a chance to set up one light before she totally lost interest. Again, PP'd with soft light b&w filter.

Dave, have you got access to a studio or just a larger living room with the tv/sofa/coffee table/everything else pushed off into the corner? Because you have some stunning results

Cheers, all of the above. Plus most importantly, I'm a happily separated man. :D
