    I would love to get involved in rifle target shooting but would like to try it out properly before paying for membership, licence, gun etc. Can anyone tell me if it is possible to do this at any of the ranges?

    I'm based in Tinahely so Rathdrum would be the ideal location but I can't seem to get into they're website at the minute. I see Wilkinstown (which would have been ideal if I was still living at home :mad:) offer a beginners course. Does anyone know if Rathdrum offer something similar?

    Also I know there are loads of different makes/models of gun but what would you recommend starting with and would you start with an air rifle first?

    Thanks for any help.

    p.s I couldn't find any similar threads here but if there has been you can just point me in that direction.
