This is your original post in this thread the bold text is the bit that I take issue with, hunting is all about the animals be it the ones your are hunting with or the ones you are hunting.
Yes, hunting is - but the threads in the hunting forum aren't all about the animals you're hunting with. (And if we split it based on the number of threads dealing with the animals you're hunting, we'd have to split Hunting a dozen different ways to cope with duck, deer, pheasant, rabbit, and so on - and then someone'd want deer/sika, deer/red, and so on - and we wind up with a forum for (for example) "people who hunt sika deer with 6.5 calibre rifles and GWPs in sligo".
In other words, it gets silly. Look, you know hunting - but IRLConor and myself earn our living with the internet, so how about you trust our judgement on this one?

I'm a member of a few forums and your right, when there are too many topics on the one subject the forum does look silly and you can't find anything. So..... I agree with you! Boards has too much going on as it is.

My problem was with your initial post, I don't like hunting being misrepresented as I'm sure you wouldn't like target shooting being misrepresented either.

I think we have that bit resolved now and your a little bit older and wiser for it;) enjoy your weekend.

I'm thinking I didn't do a very good job of explaining my thinking in that post, sorry for that deeks.

How about prefixes to the thread names like in For Sale/Wanted
We could do /Rifle and /Shotgun and /Gundog prefixes in different colours?
It wouldn't split the traffic of the forum and is easier to navigate.

    That's an idea.

Serious question. How is the forum hard to navigate as is, because I really don't understand the problem.

I don't think it is personally but there's no pleasing some people.
I think my suggestion would please everyone tbh.
