How much do you drink on a night out?

How much do you usually drink on a night out? How drunk would you get?

I would usually have about 6 cans of Tuburg pre-drinking then maybe about 3-4 pints of Heineken and about 2-3 Jager/Ice bombs in the club. Usually get pretty tanked up on a night out.

and to top it all off:

An entire pitcher of vodka and red bull to myself. I don't think I need to explain how that shopping list feels the next morning.

sunday night is my main night drinking and i can easily sink 20 pints and a few shirley basseys but if im in work on monday morning ill only have about 10 and wont touch the whiskey. working in a pub doesnt help because i dont have to go home when the shutters come down

Depends on how the oul wages look

the other night a friend returned from a long trip.
we went out witht the intention of a few pints.

2 cans heineken
8 pints of guinness
half beamish (was a pint but was nasty so stopped drinking it)
some morgans and coke. All in all a good night.

Dont know why but seem to be able to drink more at home.
Went to the pub last night had about 8-10 pints and was pissed,came home spouting ****e,dont know how much i spent but had a very light pocket this morning.
If i was to go into the city for a night out with herself(very rare these days)fags(only i smoke)drink,food and taxi there and back i would spend 150-200,not really worth it but you have to splash out from time to time.

Had our class party the last night.

Had 3/4 bottle of Jameson (the 700ml bottle)
6 more Jamesons in pub
1 Bulmers
3 Sex-On-The-Beach
3 shots of something green
Possibly one or two other drinks but don't remember.

I was sensible enough to know I had waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay more than usual and sent myself home in a taxi!
My own fault for mixing all the drinks. Was not healthy!
In future I will stick to the plain Jameson and Coke. No fancy other crap:cool:

DarkJager, your total comes to over 40 units in a night.

The suggested "safe" amount is 3-4 units on any given day.

People tend to binge drink until their mid 20's and after that they cut back. You do get the occasional over-27 moron who spends half their weekly pay on drink but it's uncommon.

Last time I drank (too long ago - cursed exams :mad:) I had a bottle of wine and 8 pints of guinness. I thoroughly enjoyed the night. However the poo the next day was, well, shameful.

Damn....that unit calculator on the drinkaware website is cool.

Results are not....last "big" night (say 1 or 2 times a year) works out at 52 units and thats just the bits I remember there was probably more

going on last nights performance it was

half bottle of wine
13 pints of heineken.usually wouldnt have this amount, only reason i know the number is because all 3 of us bought 4 rounds and i had another in the club.
3 vodkas.round each.
2 tequilas.

that wouldnt be the norm but last night was a big one starting at 5 yesterday evening.
a normal night in a pub would be 8/9 pints.if i go to a club its that plus shots and a few doubles.

Shoulder of vodka (at home)
Half a bottle of wine (at friends house)
1 Jamesons (in pub - FREE!)
4 pints heinaken (in pub)
3 vodka and coke (in club)
1 tequila

I resent the fact that as a female I have a lower recommended alcohol intake.

But that said, that was an unusual night...and I wouldn't mix drinks like that. Usually stick to the pints and have 6/7 in pub and a few shots/vodkas in the club.

I have nights where I have NO memory, but I also have nights where i Hvae drank more and my memory is Painfully intact. It is possible.

I remember the majority of mine and was told about some of the others that how I was able to list mine.
Nearly everyone remembers what they have had at the start of the night esp if they start late and throw a load into them!

Nobody counts long day binges drinks...they just say instead I was drinking for 17 hours straight! etc etc

The way I worked it out was:

I remember drinking the bottle of wine and I remember some of the guinness, but how I worked out it was 8 was because I bought a crate that day and when I woke up in the morning there were 9 gone and one pint of guinness spilt all over the floor, so I must've drank 8.

Would've only been able to guess otherwise. Oh and kinda wish I had got sick, probably wouldn't have felt so bad in the morning.

This thread reminds me of every Monday n Thursday morning in college. The endless recounting of drinks consumed. In bulleted list format. Snore.

As Slashermcgurk said, its hard to believe someone who can give ya a drink for drink account of a night out. Anytime I drank something approaching the amount of stuff listed in some of these posts, I couldnt remember me own name, let alone drinks I had and the order I drank them in.

If ya cant remember and your going around quizzing friends about what you drank........well it sounds like you need afew need more topics of conversations for the day after!

17 Pints

12 shots of some crazy 115% Serbian Buckfast
and an entire fridge full of an alcoholic's urine.








But, in real life, much like everyone else on this thread, about 4-8 drinks, depending on the night. (a drink being a pint, a glass of vodka/other spirit with a mixer, a glass of wine, or a shot)

Most I've had in the one day/night (around 6pm to 1am) was 15 pints of Heineken/Carlsberg, I was so drunk that I started drinking my Da's Carlsberg while he was off talking shíte to people he knew 20 years ago.(Twas a wedding)
I was in bits after that, Carlsberg doesn't agree with me at the best of times.
Going to a disco I'd have a shoulder of vodka followed by 3 or 4 cans. So I'd be drunk, but not too drunk.
A normal night in the pub I'd have 5 or 6 pints. At most I'd be a bit tipsy.
On holidays I'd have about 8 pints with some green or blue shots. Pretty drunk.

Not too shabby for a 15 year-old.:cool:

Tbh, why did you post here if it bores you? Some people enjoy regaling the horrendous amounts they've drank... that's the beauty of boards, there's a thread for everyone. Doesn't mean every one has to post in it.

I have quite a slight frame, I can handle my booze fairly well however I have to drink tactically to last the pace if I'm on a complete bender.

On a night out I'd prob start with pints but I'd take it easy...I may have 4 or 5 as when the clock strikes 'nightclub' then the jagerbombs start followed by Vodka and redbulls.

To be honest this would be a lot for me usually. Of course I have drank more on occasions but there's no way in hell I could even remember what I had (or want to for that matter :P )

Compared to some of the claims in this thread I'm a lightweight

But I just hate waking up on Sunday and feeling sick and miserable. I work and study all week, I don't want to waste my day off feeling awful. So I don't tend to drink anymore than a few glasses of wine, some vodka and maybe 1/2 shots max. I physically can't cope with anymore without being bed ridden the next day!
