    They are acceptable.
Are you a fan of dinosaurs?

T Rex is cool. But I wouldn't want to be within a 100 mile radius of one.
Describe your favourite sandwich (in BGRH style of course :P )

Simply nothing on this planet beats a well made croque monsieur.

    BGRH Service Announcement

trout has gone to a delightful new happy place, and judging by the smile on his chubby little face, he will not be back for some time. Just before he drifted off, trout muttered something about new dance partners bearing gifts of dark rum, or possibly blue nuns ... or something ... his last intelligible words (well) were along the lines of "go right ahead ladies, I'll gladly sit this dance out"

Pick your favourite answer from one of the below:

    I love you all equally.

    I hate you all equally.

    Meh.

    A what now?

Dr. B. (hahaaa, that'll learn ya!)

I'll pick the third one since I'm most familiar with that answer. Also, the last one. :(

    Given your all powerful Adminness

Whose username would you most like to mess with and what would you do to it?
*given that Tom Dunne is now off the menu*

Given that you have seen off nearly allcomers at this stage what could possibly make you leave boards?

  • Moderators, Social & Fun Moderators Posts: 42,362 Mod ✭✭✭✭Beruthiel

given that Tom Dunne is now off the menu

Tom Dunne is not off the menu.
I'm just waiting till he gets on the plane, I'll have hours to play with while he's up in the air.
    *waves at Tom*
    Bon Voyage.

    Winning the lotto.
I'll be too busy sitting by the pool at my villa in the south of France, watching Armand (the pool boy/house servant) serve me cocktails.
    Any day now....

As in the movie or as in the porno which was made in Californication?
Are you the Daisy to Tom Dunne's Runkle?

As in, he's goin' down, down to china town.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 43,045 ✭✭✭✭Nevyn

"china town" well that's a new euphemism to me, but it takes all sorts and all types.

When will we see a display of your etchings and oil paintings?

Who do you prefer Tom Dunne or Trout?

Also if you had to make an item of clothing out of bacon what would be?

  • Moderators, Social & Fun Moderators Posts: 42,362 Mod ✭✭✭✭Beruthiel

Who do you prefer Tom Dunne or Trout?

Tom Dunne is old and leathery where as trout is a fish, no?
So trout grilled for a few minutes, served with a slice of lemon and maybe some baby potatoes and mange tout.
Washed down with a nice chianti of course.
Also if you had to make an item of clothing out of bacon what would be?

    A scarf.
    Easy to nibble from.

I dont want to re-invent the wheel here in these difficult times, but lets take the helicopter view for a moment and tell us, going forward, what is your most hated cliche?

Which one (if any) do you find yourself using sometimes, and hating yourself a little for it afterwards?

Without a doubt and miles ahead of all others, it's: "Thinking outside the box"
Even typing it makes me shudder.

I once caught myself saying "going forward", I followed it quickly with an apology and a promise never to say it again.

We're glad you ran that one up the flagpole for us to see. :pac:

What is this fixation that Tom Dunne has with you and Blue Nun? is this some kind of mod fetish thing?

One that doesn't involve bacon?

    Or maybe it does.

Who are your nominations for this years bellies?

Red wine with fish? Do you think that exposure to this forum has made you uncouth?

Marquis de Riscal rioja reserva, or if you are loaded, Chateau Margaux.

I have been to Chateau Margaux.
It is a wonderful wine farm.
The only negative thing that I have to say about it - and it is a huge negative - they are very mean with how much wine they give you to drink.

I remember an engilsh woman coming over to me, and asking if I was into my wine.
I told her that I was just a drunk, and would drink just about with alcohol in it. :D

I am sure you are well aware of just how weird and strange Tom Dunne is.
This is also true of his Blue Nun fetish.
He is constantly trying to drag me down to his level.

    No idea.
    I shall dwell on it.

    Yes Zaf.
I don't drink white, it give me an almost instant headache!
I will never say no to a glass of Santernes though!
Do you think that exposure to this forum has made you uncouth?

Nope. I'm from Roscommon. We are uncouth by default.

Your best friend asks your opinion about buying a new car either a Yaris or a Micra. How would you show your displeasure ?

Would you blank her socially - block her number on your mobile or change your number altogether?

Where would you stand on cutting her face out of group photos?
