I'm pretty sure Kennedy would be. 50 tries this year on the series, second on the DHL player impact tracker whatever that's worth.

That said there would be a certain amount of ways people would talk him down. He played 52 games of course he is a high try scorer. He has 220 runs (not sure what exactly counts) in the world series. The second highest player was 170ish. He isn't a kicker, they are always considered higher but that's just scorer bias.

By the way I've just discovered the stats page on the HSBC word series 7s website.

In 2021/2022 season we scored 155 tries (24 scorers) and scored 93 conversions (5 kickers). Is that a good conversion rate for sevens? 60%?

Ireland mens beat Australia 19-14 to take the bronze medal.

Massive achievement for the Irish team. Australia are after winning the Sevens series this year to give an idea of how much of an achievement this is.
